I have one of the 'cheaper' TS MBITRs, so it has a 1/4" plug instead of a 5 or 6 pin plug. And naturally the H-250 that came with it died at that last Northern Light in Trenton. So, after to talking to several people, they suggested just using a ptt with a 2.5mm plug (Motorola Talkabout), converted to 3.5mm, converted to 1/4" and shazam. But, I can not for the life of me find the correct direction 2.5 to 3.5mm adaptor. I opened up the radio to see if I could wire the ptt right into it, but the inside plug end sits directly on the circuit board so thats a no go. So, it seems easy enough to just rewire the ptt myself directly to 1/4", but i can't find anything out there on how to do this.. Suggestions? Help!
And if there is already a thread of this on here, blame proboards shitty search tool, not me...
