I'm looking to get back into airsoft, but one thing that worries me is one of the big reasons I was forced out, my only airsoft gun broke. I have a new one, so I was wondering if there are some good techs in the Livingston County area in case I want to upgrade and/or fix issues with my airsoft gun?

Own Multiple guns, keep them clean, and don't use low quality guns. You shouldn't have a problem staying in the sport then.

I'm not sure if your comment is any help but I also don't quite understand his post.

There are a couple of techs that had threads in the commerce section, but since proboards forced the mods to close the commerce section I don't remember who they were.
In any case AEG's are not terribly complex and you can very easily tech your gun yourself with a little patience and watching of youtube videos.
You shouldn't need to open a gearbox until it breaks, unless something is really wrong leave it alone because why try to fix what isn't broke (I don't take my own advice on this, guess it is the engineer in me.)
Hop-up/barrel/bucking upgrades are fairly simple and straightforward and give you the biggest bang for your buck generally. You should be able to completely install/replace those in less than 5 minutes without issue.
Also it would be good to have at least 2 guns so that if one goes down you have a backup and aren't out of the game for the rest of the day. (As I found out at the last event I attended, luckily someone had a backup they didn't mind lending me.)

I was basically saying if he buys a few guns that aren't your JG/Entry level replicas, then he wouldn't have to worry about it.

T6e9a and Chapy are both techs offering their services publicly. I've only had my gun teched by t6, and it was well worth it. he does good work.
Currently working with Chapy as well. Will post full review.

Glad you are interested to get back into the sport Dingo. If you ever need any help, teching/otherwise, I'd love to help you out. And your old gun, I would imagine it shouldn't be too hard to bring back to life. I offer plenty of services, and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
But regardless, welcome back, and hopefully I can see you on the field some time.
(And maybe reform TFR? Who knows)

I am in the Livingston County area and I can also offer tech services. I live in Brighton. T6 is a better tech than I, so unless locality is an issue, he is the better choice.
