Someone made a link here (1 single link) and it was removed pretty swiftly. I'm just impatiently waiting for permission to post the link.

I support a new website as this on is 95 percent dead without the commerence section. I dont think a section with just gear is the solution either. I say post the link again and see what happens. Either people will support the new site or it will fail. Not like every one will stop visiting this site right away because there is a new one. I also think the reason you got your site blocked is because the current people in power (mods) dont want to lose there mod spot by shifting forums.

Make the link again. Although do it knowing that current mods and admins do not unanimously agree nor endorse the new forum. It's simply an alternative.
If you make the link appear as though "Hey guys we're ditching MiA come join us here" then yeah, it'll probably get deleted.

I found the post that had the link in it:
I don't see anything about usurping MiA yet the link was still removed. This is why I have yet to still post a new one. It'll get deleted just as fast.

Personally I don't see anything wrong with it. I started up a Forum back in 2008 when I hated the way the old Mod's ran things (more of a good ol' boy club). I was still allowed to post it on this forum in the airsoft discussion thread.
Personally I welcome diversity in the sake of additional outlets for information. I think the main reason it could have been taken off in the first place would be because it was so fresh after the information dropped about commerce shutting down, and a post like that would have had the unintentional message of "This is our new boards guys". I've read what you have quoted there, and I know that isn't the case, I'm just trying to play devil's advocate for another Mod's decision I wasn't aware of.
Commerce was not, and is not the only reason active players show up here, and the fact that our Charity Realsim has already received over 1,300 views in 8 days and we've had just short of 1,000 members, guests, and admins on this board in the past 24 hours should prove sufficient that our numbers haven't dropped to the points that some would have you believe.

If you are interested: www.michigan6mm.com I will likely post a formal announcement in the Airsoft Discussion category here on MiA within the next few days. It's going to be a busy weekend with Family in town due to a Death in the Family.

MI6 seems far more empty than this place here.

Was launched about a month and a half ago. Most of that time was spent testing. It's only recently gone live to the public.

MI6 seems far more empty than this place here. I'm going to go out on a limb and say it is because MI6mm is barely over a month old and has not really been advertised much outside of 3 or 4 facebook posts.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say it is because MI6mm is barely over a month old and has not really been advertised much outside of 3 or 4 facebook posts. It was being advocated that we move because this one is "dead." I'm pointing out that this place is far from dead, and that that argument for moving is not a good one. I understand that MI6mm is new and that is why there are less people. My point is that, if population is the main reason for moving, there is no point in moving.

MiA was never advocated as dead. They advocated that Commerce was dead.

Oh ok. 1 person means everyone was saying that MiA is dead. This person isn't even associated with Mi6mm.

Oh ok. 1 person means everyone was saying that MiA is dead. This person isn't even associated with Mi6mm. I never said "everyone" or that Mi6mm was advocating it! I said that it was being advocated. I probably should have quoted him as my response was to him specifically. You are expanding my words beyond the original intended scope.
