I am thinking about buying a GK5C from G&G. Does anyone have any experience with this gun? The only negatives I have heard is something about a hop up spring disrupting bb feeding. However this problem was easily solved by simply removing the spring.
Also, the only description of color I could find is "green". Is this "green" foliage green, olive drab green, or something else entirely? Pictures would be very helpful, especially if another item with a type of green were to be included in the photograph.

I owned one for a short time. Its heavy. The steel upper receiver lends to that. It has some od green and some brighter greens to it. The battery space is small. I ran an 11.1 lipo and burned through my contacts in about 2 weeks. I was runni g mainly semi auto the whole time. Im not sure if thats across the board, or only mine. I never experienced any feeding issues.

I just typed this and posted it, but my internet is being stupid. If this one and the other one both get posted, then my bad.
Here is an update:
I bought a GK5C a few weeks ago. It is heavy, but in a good way.
My sights and picatinny rail are straight.
The fire selector was loose, but is easy to tighten. I only did a little and it seems 100% better.
One thing I found that nobody else posted; if you pull back on the charging handle a couple times, the paint on the cover of the handle will start to chip. I would say to put a small patch on the bolt, like a small piece of moleskin.
My gun has feeding problems as well. However, if I insert the magazine, turn the gun upside-down, eject the mag, push down on the bbs and fire, a bb will be loaded and fired. I did research on the internet and decided to buy a sector gear delay chip. Hopefully, that will pull the air nozzle far enough back to load a bb. When I install that, I will also try to measure the hop up bucking, because that is what many people are saying the problem is. If the delay chip does not work, I will try to buy a slightly smaller bucking and try that out. Eventually, I plan on installing an R-hop. That might help as well, but I do not think so. In the mean time, I am going to try and rig up a mid cap with a stronger spring, simulating me pushing up on the bbs and making them load.
As for the trigger leads, I am also running an 11.1 lipo. When I bought the delay chip, I also bought a nukefet. I am going to install that (eventually). That should prevent the trigger leads from arcing and burning. However, I do not think my leads should be a problem until I fix the feeding issue and can actually shoot the stupid thing.
I will post my results later.
My analysis is that anyone who buys this gun should expect to work on it pretty soon. Otherwise, I think this is going to be really good.

Here is what I found so far:
The M4 mag that I made sucked, it fell out.
I installed the delay chip, and that did not work.
From taking this apart, I can say that it is easy to disassemble, but very difficult to reassemble. The wiring was the hardest part.
I am going to take it back apart tomorrow to investigate something else. I am going to see if the spring can be taken out while the gearbox is still together. I did not look for that earlier. The gearbox shell is weird. It has I think 5 allen head screws, but the top right one is shorter than the rest. Also, there is a black clip-type thing holding the top left together much like how the screws do.
I used allen wrenches, phillips head screw drivers, needle nosed pliers, punches, a hammer, a "fishing" wire, and electrical tape.
Once again, I will post more information later.

I know it has been more than a day, but I have finally got it to work. I did measure the parts like I said I would, and they are both 1 inch. The air nozzle might be a little off, but that is because I did not want to take the gearbox apart. I had to take a little bit of the plastic off of the hop up. I did not take much, just a tiny bit (around 1/16th of an inch). There should be pictures included in my post. The first few are pictures of my hop up chamber. You can see that I took a little of the plastic off from the right side where the bb comes up. After doing this, I was able to shoot it, both on semi auto and full auto. I could hit a black target I have set up for archery from 40 yards. I know that I can hit it from further, but I am using white bb's and it finally decided to snow. I could only tell that I hit it because I could hear it. Even if I cannot dial it in from further back, that is pretty much the farthest I am going to have to shoot at the field I go to. The other pictures are of my GK5C with the included waffle mag vs. a standard black mag, both from the left and the right side. I have not chrono tested it yet, but I am trusting the rating it has. When I do chrono it I will post what it is, if it is severely different than its rating. Oh, and the hop up is a pain to adjust. I use my thumb, but it is difficult to shove into the opening. However, it seems very stiff, so I do not think I will have to adjust it after I get it dialed in.
