I figured this was the best location for this, if not feel free to move it.
During the game yesterday me and Greg (owner) were talking, he informed me that he will not be able to stay open if we do not get attendance up to 25 people per game. If you do not want to lose a great local field then you need to show your support and attend a few games.
If there is anything that is keeping you from attending let me know and I will do my best to get it solved. I know there is over 100 local players in the area so something must be keeping folks away. If I dont know what is keeping you guys away I cant fix it.

The field truly has potential in terms of scenarios. The only thing that holds this field back is the attendance. If we get more local players out there to get informed about how tactical and unique the field can be, it'd be a lot more successful. The two hosts that run these bi-weekly rec games all believe in little downtime which enables the amount of games to run quicker. Check it out guys!

Yeah, I've been there once (before the new constucts) and it was great. I've been trying to get back but I'm always busy when there's an event. I hope the field stays alive.

I'd really enjoy keeping my volunteer job of hosting events for you fine people, so please do show up. My partnership with Greg (the field owner) goes back 4 years, and we've been through struggles getting fields to stay up. We had one in Ypsilanti that got shut down because of politics. So far we're far from the politics and have a sweet field up and running. We need people please!

I haven't been out to the new matrix but I frequently went to old matrix. Is the makeup of the new field close to that of the old? I saw some of the pictures but they are focused more on the players than the field itself of course.

It's a completely different environment, although we're still focusing on a lot more woodland-warfare like the old field.

I have never actually been to the old field but the new field is very tactical. The way the field flows allows for a tactical game play. You dont just walk strait up the middle and shoot the guys on the other side. You have to try to out flank them and sneak around to kill them. This is why this field is very good for objective based games, there is 10 ways to get to the same spot and 10 different ways your enemy can come kill you.

Especially with that new trail opened up beside the first island. Kjones I know you remember that time Scott (kitz68) flanked us down by that grass hallway!
