Nope, stock dboys, cyma, etc motors are 28-32 tpa usually, which is how they get away with strong springs even with the pathetic batteries they come with. Frankentorque motors are nothing but a neo can with a stock 32 tpa arm. I'm not entirely sure about other brands but 16 tpa is pretty low on the scale.

You guys are right. I was thinking of "balanced" aftermarket motors. I haven't done any tech whatsoever on lower-end stock guns like D-Boys or CYMA. But most G&PS, KWAs, VFCs, etc. come with 16 TPA motors

Most guns actually come with around an 18 or higher wich is why the rof is usually terrible. Most of the armatures that i have laying around are somewhere in the mid 20's. I think i have 1 32, 4 28's. And 3 22's. All from stock guns. An ft could be a g&p m120 armature and lonex magnets. Its just a relavent term used to describe building a motor. Wire guage and magnet strenght also have a big play in performance. If all guns came with a 16 tpa armature, they would break way way faster.

I just had a bit of a slipup there confusing "balanced" TPA with what is commonly found in stock guns. Regardless, this has nothing to do with the thread topic.
