I was thinking of purchasing one, they look amazing and from what info I found it appears to be well built and use high quality materials.I just wanted to get everyone's opinion on them or if anybody has first hand experience with one.

These look like amazing guns. I heard they're covered in factory grease out of the box and they don't look like all the clean and conservative VFC and G&P AR variants but I think that adds to the character of the AK. Internally they seem pretty good also, they didn't just decide to drop a CYMA gearbox in and call it quits. I was going to pick one up but I got offered a LCT RPK for a nice price. Go ahead and buy it because the externals would be worth it. If it fails internally you have impact airsoft who can always bring it humming again.

I am going to buy it from them anyway,I just wonder how proprietary they are.But it looks like they used quality metals and pop riveted it much like the real steel counterpart also.I still going to purchase it,but I hope they are compatible with other AK mags and upgrades.

If you have the cash for an E&L or LCT AEG, go for it. Both brands have externally and internally solid AEGs. LCT also sells just the externals, so if you're interested in running a P* setup some point, that would be your best option.

I'm also pretty curious about the E&L AK variants.
I owned an LCT AKM for a brief period. Externally the gun was absolutely beautiful. The wood was gorgeous, the metal body looked great. The only issue I had with it was the mediocre stock motor. The ROF on a 7.4v was totally anemic, basically unskirmishable. I replaced the stock motor with an SHS high torque which provided a crisp, snappy semi-auto response.
For $400+, you'd think LCT would put a decent motor in their guns.
Granted, this could be more a result of me using lipos with a lower than optimal discharge rate, but my G&Ps never struggle with these batteries...

For me, I tend to be on the skeptic side simply because their marketing left a bad taste. Most folks did not like that they claimed to be the most realistic out there, when enough folks have pointed out things like type 56 sight blocks on supposedly 'Russian" akm and more. There is also the notion that their prototype and display models sent for reviews/company promotions were quite different in fit and finish then the production models.
Honestly, to the average skirmisher, the external faults would be given zero shits. If I wanted something new for my collection, I would probably get an lct kit, because I know the respect given to them by various owners is validated. I'll stick with my dboys for now, since I know they'll keep going for some time, and no one locally cares about their faults either.

VFC AKs are also up there when it comes to external quality. Although their internals aren't anything special. I wouldn't go as far to call them crappy, but they aren't great.
It was already mentioned but you can get the LCT kits which are a good idea if you already have a built up GB and want to swap your hop up unit, barrel, etc. Or if you want to get a DG or a P* FE, they seem to be a good alternative.
I definitely would like to own an E&L or play with one as they seem to be very nice at least externally. They are a new player to the airsoft market, but supposedly made real AK parts. Not sure how true that is but if it were, then that would be pretty cool to see how they do airsoft wise.
