Specialized Recon And Infiltration Squad
We started in July of 2014 with the intent of forming a milsim team that focuses on teamwork and close communication. Our goals are to attend Milsim and Scenario games across Michigan and Ohio while making a point to attend atleast one National level Milsim a year, we want to build a team who's basis is in friendship and brotherhood, while using our close ties to become and effective and elite fighting force. We focus on stealth and lightning fast raids. Recruitment is open to across Michigan however we will reach out to people who are close first. Due to that fact that our team base won't be tied down to a certain area it is expected that our members make an effort to travel to meet up with team members at a game. We want mold ourselves into an elite team and a force to be reckoned with, however we do not too seriously and would prefer to be a fairly laid back group of guys. We would want our teammates to mesh well with us. After much consideration we decided team Camo will be M81 Woodland. Due to the fact nearly everyone has this and several events we plan on making it to, either require each squad to have similar camo (Blacksheep) or that it is the sole camo for one side that is allowed (Irene).
The current members as of August 21st are out of West Branch, Michigan, with one player in consideration from Landsing
How to Join SRIS
1)In Order to join you must be 18+ years or older. We may make exceptions to this rule, this is dictated on a case by case basis.
2) Be willing to attending at least one event every 2 months, may be more maybe be less during the summer and winter months as things speed up and slow down. We may occasionally host events (Normally once a year)
3) Own atleast one set of M81 woodland
4) Own a M4 or AK mag compatible platform. You don't wanna be the guy who runs dry in a firefight and not be able to continue to engage the target. If you are running a Marksman Rifle or DMR you are exempt from this requirement.
How to apply
In order to apply, please PM me the follow information. The information will be looked over by current members of the team. If we think you are a good fit we will choose and event to attend and will see how we mesh. If we can get along with you both on and off the field, you are in.

The next part is almost Copypasta from The Bastards recruitment thread, why because I like the way they consider their recruitment. If you are serious about Joining this team, the following will happen.
Stage 1: The player introduces himself.
Stage 2: Player plays with SRIS at an event, we will gauge your ability and conduct as a player, at this point, one other member will have to vouch for you before you go further.
Stage 3: We will have a debrief with you gilding over your conduct and sportsmanship. During this time you will be allowed to talk about your experiences you have had with SRIS, what you liked, what you didn't like and let us get to know you a little better. At the end of the Debrief you will be told whether or not you made the cut.
Stage 4: You will be offered a probationary spot on the team and added to the team's facebook group.
Time process to move from probationary member to full fledged member will take between 2-3 games, however, this may be shorter or longer depending on your conduct and standing within the Michigan Airsoft community.

Clarification On Roles
Team Scribe is responsible for finding events to attend

Marksman does not have to be a Sniper, however they are responsible to maintaining and upgraded AEG or Bolt Action Rifle capable of hitting beyond 200ft. There main role is support and counter-sniping.
