On a related note to the chrono issue I recently chrono'd my VFC 416 using my xcoretech x3200 and found a similar issue. I chrono'd it a few days back in the evening as the sun was beginning to go down and was a bit surprised to find it shooting about 315 fps. After reading this I chrono'd today in bright sunlight with the same BBs, same gun (no modifications performed since then) and same chrono and I found that it was shooting 327 fps. Each time the readings were no more than +/- 1.5 fps after a string of about 10 shots. This gun has been tuned by me and has very consistent fps readings so I think this is evidence that these xcoretech chromos can be quite light sensitive.

Here is the first 16 minutes of gameplay from the Alpha XO's perspective. Talk about following your leader into hell!!!
Hat tip to both teams for one heck of a game. =)

Also doing some "motivational speaking" when an attack was stalled. What a horrible building to assault! I had no idea how awful the door and staircase was or I would have organized it differently. 2 people could hold that entire building no problem. Guess we had to learn the hard way haha!
