All of those shots were mine. I spoke with one of your boys I tagged in the face. He didn't seem too upset about it, but it was literally all he was exposing. You had a guy on the roof there too that I tagged out first, I'm not sure where I made contact with him there, since it was more or less a snap shot (He was engaging me back and I didn't have the time to watch mine fly, just popped back up after I fired and seen his hands up).
Legionnaire, I seen you and Jon hanging out with what looked like the rest of your squad watching things play out. I only really had that murder hole at the base of the roof to sneak them through on that instance, so I'm surprised I made contact at all. The second instance could have been myself or the XO, as once he seen the range I was getting he ran about half a mag through it shooting at guys on the balcony of the jail and those in the window.
I really only had a few instances where I knew people were aware they were hit and just hid behind the building, but that was when I was shooting from 18 to the townhouse closest to the school, so there really wasn't anything I could do about that one.

On a related note, I was sitting in the front of the church main hall watching the door/napping and took a few rounds to the left leg, which either came through the southern window cracks or one murderhole that we could not find the cover for. Anyone responsible for this? It would have been around 4:30-6:00 in the morning I think.

Yeah I'm curious also! We were all trying to sleep, then it was like terror level red squad leader has been assassinated, then nothing else happened!

Yeah, I had to wake up one of our medics to get him healed, after I "dragged" Impulse away from the window. He was a sleepy medic, to say the least. It's a good thing we weren't invaded, ha!

Honestly, I remember seeing TONS of green guys redcon5ing back to the CP all the time for long periods. I think 2-1 barely spent more than 10 mins back there before Alpha Actual would come down the pipe with jobs that needed doing. I can't really complain about the taskings because he always kept us busy, and Mirage was keeping us on task, usually being the driving force behind us spending only 10 minutes off the field. christianc you were a legit dude, was glad to ride the first wagon in with you, and glad to sling plastic with you. My biggest confusion came from being told "bring everything you need out to the field, since we won't be going back to the cars", and then the cars turned out to be the CP? I brought it up with the major how it was nice at Pine Plains that each team had one building in the MOUT that was uncapturable and unenterable by players from the other side. It kept us in the action and on task. Granted, new MOUT, new challenges, but its something to consider for next time. I sort of understand the idea that everyone has that this milsim turned into nothing but CTF, but at the same time I don't. A lot of players play milsims where its retrieve the intel, or rescue the downed pilot or all that stuff, and thats all fun and good. The fact of the matter is that the main job of infantry is to hold ground, and close with and destroy the enemy. The flags were merely the means that the mods needed to be able to score points for each faction without halting gameplay to see which teams had guys in which buildings. Sure it sucks having to hold a building for 4 or 5 hours. Anyone who's had a job in security knows it sucks watching the same house for 8 hour bumps, but its part of the shtick. And anyone who thinks its any different for the military, guess again: Our job as alpha's infantry was in fact to either secure new ground, or hold existing ground. My experience was that our CO kept us (2-1) running and gunning pretty much all night, including the FRAGO at 230 am. Perhaps our timing was better when we'd chime in looking for work. Shit was mad intense and tons of fun for me. The uptime, the downtime, all of it. The fact that I was presented the opportunity to smother a frag to protect my squad was pretty epic, too. I was also glad to see the full auto restriction. It was nice being one of the few players allowed to flat-out bark rounds down range. I'd be glad to go again. As Mosin said, runner-up for squad of the battle just won't do.

FPS limits were ridiculous and some individuals were obviously not within even those limits, I never witnessed a field chrono even though they said they would be spot checking. I saw too many bleeding faces, noses, ears, hands, arms, etc. to believe that Blacksheep really cares about Safety first. This is something that no one has yet mentioned. I heard numerous complaints about the chrono being inaccurate and, in particular, reading low. Several SK members noted that their typically 350-400 FPS rifles were chronoing at 300 FPS or below. Not sure if this was because Blacksheep chronoed with .25s or if the chrono was being used improperly, not calibrated correctly or some other issue, but when multiple people are complaining about chrono results it might be a good idea to check to make sure the chrono is functioning properly. Hello, When I got there I notice that the chrono wasn't being adjusted correctly when they were switching between .25's and ammo weight being shot by HPA guns. I then got my own chrono and set up the HPA station for chrono. We checked and compared the chrono's against an AEG firing .25's and a P* firing .25's and the reading were virtually identical to each other. I don't know what happened prior to me arriving. Everyone hit on any criticism I had of the event. Hopefully it is taken into account and the next Milsim at Grayling is even better! As a member of Alpha 2-3, I had quite a bit of a fun. The initial drop with RAGE was complete chaos. Getting off the street and into the rear entrance without getting hit was an amazing feat all by itself. When we got inside, the battle effects had made it nearly impossible to effectively fight, so we ended up bailing out the rear entrance of the Embassy. Myself and BlackHawkRanger had been separated from our squad from the get go, and ended up joining our XO and taking some real estate down the residential section as well as the school. From there we ended up getting pinned on the street by the rooftop of the Hotel? I believe. We ended up having to walk back to the CATCAF and encountered the Major along the way. He was pretty cool about us being apart from our squad, but didn't want us to do that again. Yeah, we got separated inside the smoke and when I tried pulling everyone together the X.O. had already pulled the survivors together to form an impromptu squad. Good Job. Thanks Andy

@legionnaire Can't blame me for trying I thought there was only 2 of you in there, turns out I was wrong haha! I was kind of hoping a few more guys might breach the compound and hit you from the side door but I think they worked along the street and moved on

On a different note, did anyone hear about camp grayling being vandalized? I just heard about it and wasn't sure if that's what the MPs were called for.

I never heard anything about that. That had better not have been an airsofter!
On another note, I just chrono'd my gun that I decided to not run at Grayling, due to the extremely low chrono reading on it. Here's where I might have some interesting new info. I brought two guns, my new G&P that I recently gave a complete upgrade to, and my tried and true KWA. Due to the upgrades that were just finished not more than 24 hours before the game, I believed the readings from the chrono, even though it was reading way low, and therefore chose to use the KWA instead. The two guns chrono'd as follows, note the G&P was tested first.
Blacksheep Chrono G&P: 210 FPS with their .25g KWA: 344 FPS with their .25g
Today's Chrono using a BigRed Radar Chrono G&P: 318 FPS with Bioval .30g
My KWA typically comes in at around 393 FPS with .20g, so let's walk through the math. Using the formulas:
1 meter = 3.280 feet
.5 * (BB weight in kg) * (velocity in meters/sec)^2 = energy in joules
KWA: 344 FPS with .25g BBs = 1.375 joules
1.375 joules with .20g BBs = 385 FPS
Again my typical .20g BB FPS is 393 FPS, which is close enough to me.
G&P 210 FPS with .25g BBs = .51 joules
.51 joules with .30g BBs = 192 FPS
I obviously don't need to point out how ridiculously off that is from 318 FPS.
My thoughts on this discrepancy are based around something X mentioned to me prior to chrono. X said unless there is a lot of light around his chrono, which is the same as what was being used, it doesn't read very accurately. Now, when I was being chrono'd, the sun was starting to go down. This means that the light was less than optimal. Also worthy of mentioning, there were plenty of people in line behind me. So given what X has observed with his chrono, and a decent number of people with claimed improper readings, I would blame the lack of light.

So how far off was the chrono tank? My 417 said it shot 383 with they're .25's and at home I got a different reading. I think I got closer to 393 to 398 consistently. Is my reading correct or potentially closer to right?

Is my reading correct or potentially closer to right? What I was basically trying to say is that sometimes it was close to what we would expect, then sometimes it was a little off, and in the case of my G&P, it was off by over 120 FPS. That sort of erratic readings I would attribute to how poor lighting we had when we were chronoing. I only say that, due to what X has found with his similar chrono.
