I'm not going to touch on the bad as that has already been touched on, although I do think a few of you MAY be complaining a little too much. The event had its probably but nothing that would have turned me away from it. If anything, the medic system was a little over powered, I would fix this by the medics not being able to revive eachother. Many times when a medic was taken out, it should have been a big hurdle to the squad but it wasn't. Didn't have a problem with the briefing. The major cares about the sport and that reflects in the briefing. It wasn't cutting into our playing time so I didn't care.
My main example of people complaining too much was cleaning up the AO. Its a brand new facility guys it didn't take too long. I will agree that the ending brief took to long. As much as everyone was bitching about the Homemade MRE. I knew it was going to be like that, I enjoyed them and ate two of them. Your garbage was my lunch, and that kept me in the fight until I had the time to prepare my actual MRE.
My final complaint is I never got to use the tunnel system that much. I felt those could have been a big asset as most people avoided them due to thinking that everyone one would use them. Reverse psychology kept people out of the tunnels, which would have made them perfect for some quick sneak attacks.
I had a blast at this event for my first National Level Milsim and I am going to attend future Blacksheep events in and around the Michigan area. Tankleader was a good squad leader and I am glad I got to roll with him. Rolling with Puma, Blackhawk Ranger, Exodus and everyone else on our squad was a blast.
The Engagements
I'm going to go over my favorite engagements these in the order they happened.
First, was our initial deployment. Our squad, 2-3 got deployed with Rage, couldn't have asked for a better attacking force. As soon as we deployed with our XO it was a clusterfuck, Bravo had taken over both the Hotel and the Embassy, I think 5 guys were hit in the first 10 seconds? Anyways we all poured to the wall of the hotel, where more of us got killed. We finally managed to clear the first floor and we all poured into the building. It was filled with smoke and you couldn't see more than a foot in front of you. It was so bad that I was standing right next to Gimp and he didn't realize it was me until I opened my mouth and spoke. That was the most intense game start of my life. Just the look of "Oh fuck" everyones face as soon as we deployed was priceless. I was thinking to myself, shit we just lost the game already. Again, best deployment ever, completely a clusterfuck, but intense and adrenaline pumping as hell. After that, our XO took our squad an had us move though the group of houses to the south, so we quickly took those.
Second. About two hours into the game, our squad had deployed to the schoolhouse, we took that and then snuck through the woods to the upper three houses by the church. We caught the defending squads by surprise and took over the village in a matter of minutes. After that about half our squad assisted in assaulting the church while the other half pulled security detail. Puma, Ares and I pulled rear guard in the woods for awhile during this time. Eventually the assaulting force was killed off and the rest of the squad mortared, which I find funny due to the fact tan used 3 mortars and only killed off 4 people.
Fast Forward a bit to the first Frago. Our squad was defending the entire southern village during the firefight at the hotel to capture our general. Our area was to be used as a fallback positions if the hotel was compromised, Puma, Ares and I were held up in 22, rear guard again, we were catching some rest, I was actually texting Cats as he was asking me how blacksheep was. I told him we were pulling rear guard and that tan was probably going to be swarming in any minute. Fast forward 10 minutes and we hear "contact!" coming from another building, about 30 seconds later when I was trying to plan how were were going to stop Tan dead in there tracks as they stormed the building, (there was a room in the back with only one window we could hold up in) 3 pea grenades were thrown in the building and we were killed by atleast 11 Tan guys. Kudos for the awesome breach guys. After that we got revived and had to fight some brutal house to house fighting assisted by Rage, SK and some of the MiA team I believe. This started the intense firefight in the village everyone was talking about between Alpha and the Bravo guys rocking Nods.
Finally the best engagement of the night.
Ares and I were catching some Z's in the basement of the Embassy when we heard our squad leader yelling to assist with a Frago. We get our shit back on and take off with half our squad into the woods, it was dead silent in the building, however when we exited the building all I could here were the discharge of AEG's,Polarstars, shouting and the siren and helicopter sound effects coming from the PA. I dashed into the woods and joined into the HUGE firefight going on. I was completely immersed in the Milsim experience at this point. Tan was defending the Helipad and we had to take it at all costs. I put a volume of fire into at least ten guys, saw them call there hits and kept a lot of heads down. It wasn't long until Green overtook tan, getting assaulted on all sides do that. That entire experience was something I will never forget.
Sportsman Ship
Sportsman ship was some of the best I have ever seen. I was impressed, I'm sure the Major was impressed. It was fun seeing some familiar faces. I went in thinking we were gonna slay bodies and I was right. Can't wait to see Gimp, Mosin, Pagan and others again. To the guy running with Rage that I loaned a 9.6v in the tunnel to, thanks for giving that back, I honestly wasn't expecting it back. I don't know your name but it was really, really awesome of you.
Squad of the Battle definitively should have gone to Rage, when you guys weren't making impossible assaults and pushes, Mosin was providing sniper support (Or atleast I think that was him) from the Hotel. That saved 2-3's asses many times.

I will definitively be back to these events in the future. I will be signing up as a squad leader next year if anyone would like to slay bodies with me.
