Team Description:
The Ghost Squadron Airsoft Team is a MilSim-oriented group of airsoft players. We focus on using team-based tactics to accomplish goals through effective communication and practice.
We currently operate in the southeast Michigan area, and mainly attend events at Hell's Survivors and Action Paintball. While we commonly attend recreational events and open-plays, we focus mainly on MilSim events for the added challenge and the necessity of teamwork.
While we play to have fun, we also take airsoft seriously, and we expect team members to be committed enough to put in real effort. We do not take lone-wolves, and we do not take the unmotivated. However, a dedicated team-player will be a perfect fit, and will find that we are not always so serious.
We also focus on putting out content through YouTube, Google+, and Facebook.
An enormous number of videos of our airsoft gear and gameplay can be found here (while this is my channel, it is also the primary channel of the team): www.youtube.com/user/CStingerGhost1
My Google+ profile (again, this is the team's primary G+ profile): plus.google.com/b/109054449257929624792/+CStingerGhost1/posts?pageId=109054449257929624792

Team Members:
Stinger
Killer
SgtGhostGSAT4 - "Ghost"
Fear Roback
Android
Basic Application Details:
Age bracket (this is very flexible): 16-20
Camouflage: MARPAT and three-color; While we currently use only the woodland varieties of those patterns, we will soon be adding desert versions. NO MULTICAM
While it is not explicitly required that you have good gear, it is more than often the case that the quality of the gear you have reflects your level of experience. There are of course exceptions, and in those cases we will notice.
It is a requirement that you have a primary weapons platform capable of feeding 5.56mm STANAG magazines unless you use a SAW.
Some may view the PFT section of our candidate process as a bit "over the top." That's understandable. It is not simply to ensure that the candidate is adequately fit (although that is important to us). It helps us gauge the candidate's motivation.
In fact, the candidate process as a whole is more a test of how well the candidate interfaces with the team rather than what the candidate is capable of doing.

Direct questions to myself or Killer.
Greetings MiA,
Now that some of you have hopefully gotten to recognize us, I want to try and get you to know us.
If you don't want to watch all of the videos, at least watch the recent ones (they are good).
The Ghost Squadron Airsoft team was started by myself and Killer back in 2010 as a little backyard airsoft team (we were 12-13 at the time). It originally included some friends, and we didn't do much. In 2011, we went to our first field event at Futureball. We also started making videos around that time. Our videos were and currently are still primarily through the channel CStingerGhost1, which I control. We started off with a small amount of video production capability (two cameras, some basic video editing software, and a low-end notebook computer). Our airsoft kit was, likewise, barebones. Here are some videos from this "genesis" era:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=8E3PCdSWvII
www.youtube.com/watch?v=QvhYi0PNEMM
As time progressed, I began to cut team members as I realized that many of my friends were not nearly as into airsoft as Killer, Shadow (my brother), and I were. It eventually came down to being just us three.
We got more experienced at airsoft and started getting popular as our videos were getting better. We upgraded kit and production gear. The gameplay montage seemingly became my editing niche.
Here is my favorite video from this mid-level era: www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4HrinRmW4w
Still going only to Futureball, we started to gain interest from other airsofters. We were joined by current member Ghost after playing with him weekend after weekend. YouTube picked up as well.
We then got into what some might call a "god" state, where a ridiculous number of kid airsofters idolized us at Futureball. The ego boost was nice, but we had a lot to learn from people who knew far more than us (ahem, MiA).
A video of this era: www.youtube.com/watch?v=C2YECEgO8cI
Of course, the montages are surrounded by normal gameplay videos and equipment reviews.
More recently (a year and a half ago), Frankie (Fear Roback) joined the team. This expanded us to having five people.
Less than a year ago, I got far more intense with the video editing. I purchased a subscription to the Adobe Creative Cloud, giving me all kinds of software. The quality of our videos really picked up as I became more experienced.
This is the start of our current age: www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDN_4Uv4d4c
This is one of my favorite videos that I have ever made: www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9e7QV_AqvM
That is a montage of our 2013 airsoft.
Over the following winter, we developed further as a team (another great video here): www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-lsSAvH5SA
In order left-to-right: Shadow, Killer, Stinger, Frankie, Wheels (non-member), and Ghost
It was shortly after that time that we were introduced fully to MiA. Shadow dropped out of the team, as airsoft is no longer a big interest of his. We picked up Android as a designated marksman. This is our current era (awesome MiA events, and truly good kit):

As always, there will be more to come.
Current team roster:
Command Element/Rapid Assault: Stinger (that would be me! )
Support Element/Rapid Assault: Killer (is also a secondary command)
Designated Marksman/Rapid Assault: Android
Rifleman: Ghost
Rifleman: Frankie
You may notice that we are split into two echelons: Rapid Assault and Riflemen. This is primarily because the Rapid Assault element is the team "spearhead," and generally takes the front.
EDIT: I forgot the primary reason I made this post. I made the first of our team's updated loadout videos (they have been heavily requested). This is Killer's Loadout (I think you guys will like how we make loadout videos; it is unique):
