Hey airsofters, I am new to the forum (but not new to airsoft) and my first question is what would be the best upgrades for the Matrix vsr10 mbo9 real wood bolt action sniper rifle. I have looked through various angel custom parts ( springs, cylinders, barrels, sears, etc) and wanted to know what parts would be best to improve accuracy, range, and fps in this rifle. Advice is much appreciated.

The part that shows you how to take your gun apart is VERY helpful I was worrying that I was gonna screw sumthin up or lose parts. But all these mods look like a pain in the ass, plus i don't have the skill or many of the right tools (besides screwdrivers and allen wrenches). I'd rather just spend the extra money to get better parts and just plug them in or go to a airsoft tech shop and have them show me how to do it . And I was just wondering if you or anybody else new which parts were best to increase range, fps, and accuracy on a vsr10 system.

A good barrel and bucking will do wonders to any gun. It's hard to name specific brands, because they can all be amazing or terrible depending on the gun, how it's installed, parts they are paired with.
The first thing I'd recommend is getting a tight bore barrel. Some people prefer 6.01 and others a 6.03mm. I've always leaned towards the 6.03's but as airsoft has progressed the usual 6mm bb has become a "precision" bb and is now about 5.95mm so my opinion for a bolt action has now swayed towards the 6.01. It's really up to you and your budget. Some people shell out $100+ on an inner barrel. In my opinion brands like madbull, angel custom, lonex are just as good, but for a much better price. There are many others that are abit more expensive but the build quality is usually more precise, brands such as: laylax, Prometheus and such fit that description.
Next is the bucking. The nice thing is that buckings are usually fairly cheap, $10-25. I would just buy a bunch, test each one and decide which works best for you. Brands I recommend trying are: king arms, nine ball, reaps, firefly, maple leaf, and maybe angel custom. What ever you decide, if you want a 500+ fps set up, most brands offer a "harder" bucking. Generally the higher the fps the more wear that occurs on a bucking, so companies offer a more solid bucking that will last longer. However I believe those a meant for guns that are semi/full auto. A bolt action won't put a ton of wear on it quickly so that's really up to you as well.
Fps wise, a cylinder parts are very easy to install, what I like to do is throw in a high power spring and use it till something breaks, then upgrade each part as it fails. Probably isn't the best stratagy, but it's what I like to do. The spring will extend your range a bit further, and usually the compression on a stock gun is fairly good so I would just leave it until it breaks.
Hope this helps you out, I know I didn't really give you specifics but I hope it narrows your search abit. If you have any specific questions, send me a pm and I might be able answer them.

The JG Bar10 is based around the Marui vsr10, which I assume the matrix is as well, get ahold of deputy, he has a Bar10 hitting out to 300ft, he can show you where to start. Definitely get a PDI hop up chamber though so you can use AEG barrels and buckings, get it R-Hoped. Run a miracle barrel and you should be getting at least 260ft with a sniper weight bb
