I would like to thank team RAGE hosting this event.
I had fun as a medic for green.
I will not go into the good and bad as I feel it has been covered.
What I would like to bring up is safety. I feel it was over looked somewhat. It was stated at the start of game that shooting glasses are not allowed. Yet the green C.O. was wearing clear shooting glasses with no seal. I also noticed others (including the refs) wearing what looked to be tinted shooting glasses with no strap around the back of the head. If I am wrong about this please let know. it is not my intent to get anyone in trouble that was following the rules. Lastly and by far the biggest safety issue I witnessed was between the first a second game. Green team was outside the castle and one person asked a team RAGE ref if he could remove his eye protection and was told yes. The problem being everyone still had mags in and guns ready. If he had been told to go inside the castle that would have been better. This also lead to half the other people removing their eye protection as well. I bring this up because just one gun malfunction or mistake and someone could have lost a eye.
I am sorry if this is not the best way/place to bring this up. I do feel it had to said and again if I am mistaken about some or all of these things being safety issues let me know.

Had a great time yesterday, thanks RAGE! The good and bad have already been covered. However I would like a clarification on grenade rules. Myself and two other tan were using a metal bunker as cover, we were not in the bunker. A green player tossed a grenade against the perpenducular wall and thought we all should be out. We called ourselves out however our understanding was that if a grenade / anti-tank weapon was used against a bunker it had to be in the presense of a mod who would make a ruling. My feeling was this was just a grenade, not an anti-armor weapon. It did not disperse any bb's, just went boom. That's why we intially did not call out, but wanted to avoid the argument. I would just like to understand for the future. Thanks again.

The headband is not required, so long as they fit firmly on your face.
I cleared that player hot to clean his goggles because we hadn't started yet and we were in the staging area, and he was on the upper deck of the castle. If an accidental discharge happened up there I'd be pretty pissed at the guy responsible.
We take safety very serious, and as I said in the intro brief if you feel something is unsafe go to channel one and let someone know, don't post it in after actions when there is nothing we can do about it.

I was not aware that system existed.

I feel no need to cover the good or bad;however I'd like to state that my friend,my brother, and I all had one of the best games we've ever played (this was all our first milsim, and for sure not our last). I'd like to give a big thanks to all the moderators that showed up to make the event great. Yet One problem I encountered was the fact that rules on explosives were not stated Ex. Fragmentation grenades, sound grenades,m203 bb shells, and smoke grenades were stated roughly,or not at all,I'm speaking in terms of what types of these systems were allowed. In light of this I must admit I was the player responsible for the hot smoke,in wich I am very sorry for;in my defense I was not aware these were not allowed (as it was my first time),yet I promise it will never happen again. If I missed a rules page or some information about grenades could someone please let me know I hope that you will accept my sincerest apologizes for this occurrence. Overall a great game with honorable hit calls and far more intensity than I've ever experienced, and I wish to attend operation breakout in hopes that it will be an even better OP then it's predecessor.

Not much to say, other than the fact that me and my brother had a great time! This was both mine and his first MILSIM, and all the people we ran into were very welcoming! Had a great time running with 1-5 on tan in the beginning of the day, but due to necessity we ended up all over the place. Best moment of the day was probably patrolling through the village right before lunch, turning a corner and running into a green guy!

Does anyone else have a ridiculous number of insect bites on them? I have about 5 on my lower right torso. Probably mosquito Very annoying, very itchy I only mention this, because I want to make sure this is from the event, and did not occur while I was sleeping last night. We are redoing much of our house, and a lot of bugs have quite literally come out of the woodwork. Last night a wolf spider woke me up when it tried to crawl over my eyelid. I spent half an hour hunting him down. They're freaking fast. /rant EDIT: After searching the internet, I think they're actually flea bites.

I got some mosquito bites during the game, mostly in the second half because it's more woodsy on that half of the field.

This was by far one of the greatest events I've been to so far at Hell Survivors. Thanks to Mosin, Mirage, Marshy, and the rest of RAGE for putting on an awesome event. Definitely can't wait until Breakout when we get the whole field!

Hydrocortisone cream to heal and stop the itch Whatever it was, it happened at the event, because the number of bites isn't increasing. I washed my clothes/gear first thing when I got home, and took a shower as well. If they were on me, they're dead.
