Kinda stupid question, but any tips as to how to get the stupid cord through the hole on a M1911? It's a Tactical Tailor QD pistol lanyard if that means anything.

Have you considered using a clip or small ring between the pistol and the lanyard? We did that to a lot of the M9's on deployment.

Not paper clips bro, more like the little round ones for clothing or jewelry.

Oh, you mean to hook it up, and not thread the lanyard through the hole?

Key rings are your friends when it comes to little things like this.

Is the lanyard loop on your pistol too small? You should just be able to run the thin loop on the lanyard through one side, then the larger bit of the lanyard back through that loop.

Not sure what you mean by thin and larger loops.

Not sure what you mean by thin and larger loops. Run the loop through the pistol and take the actual lanyard and put that through the loop and tighten it Sent from my SCH-I535 using proboards
