Wow. Today was incredible. The weather was almost perfect; warm (not hot), and there was a slightly heavy breeze. Despite the breeze, you could still hit people at long ranges if you adjusted to it. Although the forecast last night depicted a chance of rain, the sun was out all day. The games were all balanced (from what I saw), and everyone played fair. However, the best part was hit calling. I didn't hear ANYONE yell "Call your hits!". Either everyone was calling their hits, or everyone matured a little. I was extremely pleased, and I'm sure everyone else will agree.
Also, I had a great time riding on my buddy's shoulder during the capture the flag game. I think I actually got someone.
Overall, this No Limits game was one of, if not, the best I have attended. Thanks to Pagan, Cam, and the rest of the SK crew for running another great event.

Yep, the weather was perfect, and overall it was a great day even though I had to leave early. No issues with hit calling, but I think there were some balance issues. In the force on force in urban, the team at the far side kind of steamrolled us after they flanked on our right (and left...). Of course that was probably our fault, but last year the same setup had that team win also...
And at the capture the flag games in the small field, it seemed like whichever team had the side with the hill one. At least we switched sides after a few rounds. But other than that I thought it was great. Unfortunately I came too late for pizza and I didn't bring enough food, so I left for lunch but then I had to leave.
In the future, I hope that No Limits will stock more supplies. I didn't end up needing a battery, but ammo was getting scarce for me towards the end, and the only ones I could buy were .30's. Not that those are bad, but variety is always good.

Even though I didn't get to stay long at this game, I thought it was much better than the last one. As, AKS stated, I don;t think I heard a single issue with people yelling to call hits or any nonsense like that.
Thanks Pagen, and the rest of SK. for hosing another great event!

great game, I came up from ohio to play. Definitely enjoyed it. You guys definitely know how to play some good airsoft. Very friendly community, refs did a good job. 8.5/10
I will say that people seriously need to stop sitting at base and doing nothing while games are going, people gotta get in the game. The last game with the VIPs was a drag, green didn't rush so we sat around for most of the game waiting for a push.
Anyhow the wind sorta spoiled it for some of us, but I definitely had a good time. Thanks to Pagan for running a great event and to everyone who played. I'll definitely make it up to the next no limits game.

Had an awesome time today, thanks everyone for that!
Easily the best day I've had airsofting. Perfect weather, really great people, and really fun games. The wind was much more appreciated than disliked, and though the last game did drag a bit, it was still a great joy. Just be a bit more aggressive in play next time, guys!
It was also a great pleasure to meet more people and make more friends. Seeing a few others in Russian kit gave me hope as well!
Auzzie, would you mind if I posted a few of those pictures elsewhere on the internet? Of course with due credit and links.

I had a good time as well. I am glad my WE M14 worked good for me all day, I managed to get close to 50 kills with it too. My only gripe is the length of lunch time, seemed like it lasted a really long time. For the last game the people on top of the hill did try to push a few times but you guys did a damn fine job at keeping us back, I think the issue was your respawn was too close to the building and did not give us enough time to capture it before you were back in. Thank you all for playing with respect, it made the day great.

Great day today, possibly one of the best NL games I have ever attended. Thanks to the SK guys for hosting (and putting up with my late AF chrono shenanigans.) I didn't see or hear about any hit calling issues, which is always a good thing. The only thing that I saw all day that I didn't like was the switching up of teams at the last game. It mixed things up a little, which was good, but created several friendly fire incidents. But that minor complaint aside, it was a great day overall.
EDIT: Goddamit once again I manage to avoid the camera.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. Like I said yesterday, our goal is to have fun, and it was wonderful to not hear anyone yelling about calling hits. We had 118 players out yesterday, and had zero issues of people yelling for other players to call hits, and had no complaints from players about people not calling hits. If anyone wants to post pictures on our facebook page ( www.facebook.com/SuicideKingsDetroit) feel free. We'd love more people to get to see what we do.

I had an awesome time yesterday! I brought my dad out and my fried and they both had a blast too. I was really happy to hear no "CALL YOUR HITS!" I will agree with Gabriel about the team switching on the last game. He and I were running together on the left flank on that last game and we were in the woods hidden killing a few that walked by but it was really hard to tell if I was shooting at friendlys or not in the last part when the other team rushed Other than that I didn't see any problems at all. I met a lot of new guys there and I used a lot of my new stuff. I was really glad to see how well my MP7 worked too. Thanks to Pegan and all the others that always host these great games.

Yesterday was wonderful! The weather was perfect, the amount of players was extremely nice, and the people running it were very kind. I had some issues with my gun that made me miss out on the games before the lunch, but still had a TON of fun! The atmosphere of the general player population was very chill about everything, I was extremely impressed by the lack of yelling due to calling hits! I will most certainly be attending more events at No Limits, Pagan being a large factor, thanks for letting me use your tools for a large portion of the day, it really made mine.

Had a great time as usual. Was a bit late arriving, so missed the first game on Urban (though I heard it was very soupy), but was ready to go after that. The turnout was awesome, and the friendliness inherent in our sport was prevalent throughout the day.
I didn't hear any issues with hit calling either, even on the Castle games which seem to attract it more due to the brush and cover available. The only issue I had was getting lit up while walking across the bridge with my gun held over my head to clearly indicate I was out.
Things I learned: 1.) Airsoft is fun 2.) I am fat, and I sweat a lot, I was leaving plate carrier shaped damp spots on my shirt every game 3.) I need a fan for my goggles (I'll probly rig one out of a PC fan before I play next) 4.) The decision to play in a brand new pair of boots was...misguided 5.) When one is used to the ankle support of normal boots, switching to jungle boots, then running across very uneven ground, is bad, mkay. 6.) Airsoft is fun 7.) Even though I only pulled it once, having a pistol in a proper holster is very handy 8.) I need more ammo 9.) I need to get myself a hydration system 10.) Airsoft is fun

Had a good day yesterday. Got to run arround and have fun. Other than sun burn, I walked away feeling good. The last game that we did play was a bit confusing at first. No complants tho.
Now all I need to do is check on a possible support role, and get someone to adjust/ change my hop up.

I actually think the more you play, you'll start to realize you don't need as much ammo. Get some mid-cap mags if you don't already have them, and you'll conserve more ammo because you'll be less tempted to do long full auto blasts. I swear, my first couple games I used an obscene amount of ammo. Now I can go a round on 2 or 3 midcaps. Hell, at Northern Lights, I think I used about 1000 rounds the whole weekend, if that.
