www.gitactical.com/product_info.php?cPath=745_31_55&products_id=12440I have been looking all over the place to try and see if there are any reviews or responses to how these preform. They are pretty cost efficient and knowing Lonex as a great brand for upgrades, I just am not sure how they are with their barrels. With them being so cheap it makes me worry that they might not compare to others as well I would like to know if anyone here has had any experience with them or any input as to whether it is worth it or not. Thanks I am primarily trying to find a 6.03 247mm-260mm barrel, preferably stainless steel that is of top quality and will have great performance for a nice long lifespan. Also I would prefer to buy from ASGI or GItactical if possible. Not required, just preference.

I've actually heard that evike sells Matrix steel 6.03 barrels as well and I know Pagan has one and he said its nice. I'm also in the market for a 247mm barrel so I'm glad you posted this.

I have had pretty good experience with Matrix in the past, but I have also heard the horror stories about them. Was looking to see if Lonex might keep up their good name with their barrels.
Instead of posting over and over between responses: Thanks for the input Caboose, that's the sort of thing I wanted to hear.

I had a 509mm Lonex in a JG M16 for a while (stock bucking/two-piece hop-up). Overall, it performed pretty much identically to a 6.03mm Madbull of the same length.
Also, the Lonex isn't stainless steel. It is coated carbon steel, similar to the PDI Raven inners.

But the Madbull ones are coated aluminum, so theoretically the steel ones should last longer.
I'm guessing you've probably read HS5's thread about barrel brand quality, but if you haven't, well, it's stickied on airsoftmechanics forum.
