How are the customs between us and our northern friends? I've never had anything shipped to me from out of country, so I have no idea what it's like.
If you have or had any experiences with our customs please share it with me. By the way, I'm attempting to purchase a KJW g23 off of him.
Thanks!

I don't believe there are any laws concerning export from Canada unless you plan to bring the item back. Canadian players coming to play in the US would want to fill out the Y38 form (if it still exists) to help get their replicas back with hem.
You probably only need to concern yourself with the US Customs as they will have the final say. No trade marks are allowed (unless licensed for the US market) and an orange tip is required. Check with the seller to be sure the pistol will make it back through Canadian customs if it is for some reason rejected by the US side and you are allowed to return it to sender. If it is a used pistol be aware that propane or other flammable gasses need to be shipped appropriately. I had a pistol rejected from HK Post air mail because they couldn't ship a loaded pressure vessel (the retailer left the mag loaded from "testing") and I had another seized by US Customs because of a "flammable gas odor" which led to them opening the package and seizing my fully trademarked M9 for trademark infringement. Both were a pain in the ass to deal with and expensive losses. Make sure the seller empties the mags a day or so before he ships. Sorry if that scares you but with a private seller and a used pistol it is possible.
I have ordered a shit ton of things from over seas with almost no issues. As long as the trades aren't obvious, it has the orange tip, and empty mags you should be ok. Can you not find one stateside?

No, but his price was ridiculously good. He's quitting and only wanted 70 for the gun and 3 mags.

Make sure they agree to refund you if it is seized or lost as well. JKarmy refused to refund me for a plate carrier after it was returned back to them. I even furnished receipts and tracking info.

Ouch, sorry to hear that. It still had the orange tip on it, and it was the standard unmarked slide.
I'll see what we can come too, but I'm hoping this works out.
Regardless, buying this gun new is more then I want to to pay. The p226 is the only other gun I really want, so... We'll see.
