Fun looking guns! Mind if I ask what makes the CQBR not a MK18? Unless I was being a stickler about the receivers and trademarks, I would call it one.

"The Close Quarters Battle Receiver has been more or less taken on by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (often referred to as NSWC-Crane or just "Crane") as its own project following the CQBR's removal from the SOPMOD program. Just as the Special Purpose Receiver morphed into the Special Purpose Rifle, and was type-classified as Mk 12 Mod 0/1, the complete CQBR-equipped carbine has been type-classified as the Mk 18 Mod 0."
Basically I choose to call it a CQBR because it's the correct term for the time period it is imitating. Also because Airsofters tend to throw Mk18 to anything with a resemblance to a SBR.

Very nice looking rifles. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of your collection and upcoming impression.

Updated Guns. I've moved to a collectors type mindset and ditched impressions completely. These are the remaining 3 guns that I have.

^Pretty much sums up my sudden switch. Still trying to get rid of my Aor1 sets, but when I'm done, my only stuff'll be an AK74u, a Glock 19, and a chest rig. In the future, maybe an M4. Nice blasters, btw!

Doesn't sound like collecting to me Abbot HAHA. Deacon that 1911 is pure FAP, FAP material. It is probably one of if not the nicest looking Airsoft 1911's I've ever seen.

Thanks CJA. The 1911 pictures don't do it justice. Especially since I just freaking noticed that I forgot to put one of the grip screws back in! /facepalm.

Doesn't sound like collecting to me Abbot HAHA. ...true... Nah, I'll be collecting in the future, when I get more time to airsoft, but for now I'm just ditching impressions. Edit: I was just thinking today how the magpul 1911 grips would look on a tan 1911... Really love that thing, Deacon.

Oh I'm so glad I stopped in this thread! I've been debating on purchasing the Magpul grips for my 1911 but wanted a good visualization first. Now I think I might have to get them haha.

I love that Operator. The color contrast is perfect, and the trades are the nicest I've ever seen on a sidearm. Fantastic work!
