Im wondering at how I can fix the gas problem with my 1911. It seems that when firing all of the gas is ejected in 1-2 shots. I have lubed up the slide and loading nozzle and cleaned the whole gun. I also replaced the loading nozzle spring thinking it was pulling the nozzle back fast enough but this wasn't the case. I was told it may be the loading nozzle itself. I would like to know what someone here thinks before I go out and buy more parts that I don't need. Thanks guys.

Sounds like the valve on the mag is sticking. Disassemble the mag, and oil the valve striking pin, spring and the gas release pin. Basically your mag needs to be cleaned and oiled. Use a gun oil, something with Teflon will last longer.
Gas mags should be cleaned and oiled twice a year or at the beginning of every season.

I was told that all of the mags didnt have a problem plus there are three of them. Could this be the case with all three mags?

I would not recommend oil, as it often contains petroleum additives that can damage other parts of your gun. I personally only use 100% silicon oil, RC shock oil like this: www.rcboca.com/losi-shock-oil-6-pack-20-25-30-35-40-45-weight.html?gclid=CI7-nNCYurwCFU5k7AodDgIAsg in particular. I was told that all of the mags didnt have a problem plus there are three of them. Could this be the case with all three mags? Yes it's definitely possible. You mentioned that you lubed the slide area, but did you apply any lube to the trigger mechanism? It is possible that your valve knocker is sticking.

I sprayed, disassembled, and cleaned the Entire gun. I sprayed silicon in the magazines; both valves but did not disassemble. I thought the valve knocker was the problem at first, but after disassembling and reassembling the correct way I found this was not the case. The other day I filled a magazine and was able to get multiple shots off. Could it be that I'm not filling the mags correctly or is it as skypilot said and its the mags themselves?

Are firing indoors or outdoors? What's the temperature? If it's a new problem and was working fine the other day but isn't working now it could be how you're filling the magazines.

I recieved the gun in this condition with the assurance it was a simple fix. I was looking for a secound opinion to be absolutley sure. And I am fireing it indoors at maybe a 60+ degree temperature.

Is it expelling all the gas that you can hear it all shoot out or does it just sound like it ran out of gas?

Neither. It sounds like it's running just fine. Not even that load either or any leakage. It just fires an adverage of two shots and then a little half shot. Thats all

Sounds like it's just running out of gas, though only having one half shot before not firing again is a little odd. How long are you gassing the mag for? Is your gas can almost empty? One thing I would try is the washer mod. This should increase your gas efficiency greatly as well as lending you a harder kick. A guide to it can be found here: www.airsoftsociety.com/forums/f10/shadys-gbb-teching-thread-90071/index4.html

The can may be empty but Im doubting it because Ive been filling these mags for about two months like this and I used a can of propane(full) with the same issue.
