I don't know much about the varieties in each category of camo, but I've came across these combat uniforms on eBay for only $30. It seems like a good deal, however, would they still classify with the multicam used at many of the events hosted or would they clash as far as looks? www.ebay.com/bhp/multicam-a2cu

Those are surplus. They're more color accurate than commercial uniforms or clone patterns. Yes, they are appropriate.

When Army uniforms are a2cu, they are meant for flight operation guys, I have a couple in acu and multicam. a lot like Acus but zippers on the pockets so you dont lose stuff and velco ties for your waist, basically to keep your clothing tight under rotor wash. Also they are flame retardent, as in your day will only be marginally less worse than without them. They kinda feel like pajamas...

I think the only reason they're so affordable is the military guys I've talked to about them said they're junk compared to the a2cus that used to be issued. I owned a set for awhile and they're still better than airsoft knock-offs; so I'd say they're good to go. All the pockets are really awesome.

Are they still 50-50 nylon and cotton ripstop?

Negative, they're a fire resistant uniform and mostly made from Nomex, with something like 5% kevlar thrown in there for good measure. Nylon is absolutely not good on a fire-resistant setup, it has this tendency to melt and make things very, very ugly.
