Would love to attend Lighting Strike at the Mall. If anyones in the SE area and is willing to add someone for carpooling I'm more than willing to help contribute to the trips funds.

I live in south east michigan, and I really want to go to this event, but there's probably no way I can go without carpooling. The only problem is that my car is extremely small, and having 4 people (its max seat limit), and everyones gear, it wouldn't work. Id be wiling to contribute for gas if others were going to carpool, but the only way it would work is if someone had a van or a large suv to accomadate a few people and all of the gear we would have

Posted on the LS forum that general registration is opening on 1/28 with alumni squad registration opening on 1/24.
"Troops,
Litigation between Mall's owner and a big corporate giant continues, hence, delaying any development. That said, the court is to pass a verdict by FIRST week of April, hence, we're moving it up to Mar. 28th weekend. This is siding that the Judge has no issues with the mall being in any kind of usage at all before Apri 1, 2014 which we hope to hear (positively, from their attorney, by this Friday, Jan. 24th. At which time we'll accept alumni squad registration via e mail request to jlu@olcmss.com first. General registration will open on Jan. 28th at 12:00noon EST.
Unique AOs are tough to come by and we always work hard to earn your support. And, THANK YOU, for hanging in there with us."

Well, I'm gonna do my best to go. My family lives in NW Indiana..about 1.5 hours away from the mall. I just gotta to see if I'll have funds in time. The registration date just dropped out of thin air and the event date moved up as well cmpared to the Ohio AO info for April.
If I can't swing it, I'll definitely head to Irene and maybe NL if it happens and it's close enough.

Damn it! I was wanting to go as well. But March is such a busy month at my shop I would lose to much money not staying for work. Maybe there will be some thing closer to May or later. Or looks like I just might have to find some thing going on middle of the year.

Northern Light is now showing the location in Ohio that Lighting Strike was at, but no other updates. Still a possibility.

That would be nice because it's looking like Lightning strike might not be able to happen for me this year, but if Northern Light was held in Ohio I could most likely make it. Fingers crossed

That price tag is insane. No way I'd pay $180 for a CQB game. Hopefully NL stays at $120 and is in Ohio. I'll go there if so.

Does anybody know anything about the Ohio AO? Is it vehicle friendly? Are there any pictures of the AO?
