Well I'm creating the first part of this review right now to tell my experience with this company.
Here is there website
blackopsairsoftguns.com/
There website is modestly well made. There selection isn't really high but it seems like thats not there goal as a company (more on this later), however some pages seem to still be under construction.
My reason for going with this company is that I have heard through the grapevine that these guys were making a decent name for themselves in custom tech work. Both between unusual projects and project requiring some fabrication.
As it stood I had a Maruzen M870 that I had been trying to find a technician to install the G&P receiver and barrel that I had picked up along with tuning the internals to give it a small FPS bump and increase reliability of the ejector and loader.
After calling the company I was directed where to ship the package and what to include in the box. About 1 1/2 days after UPS confirmed delivery I was contacted over the phone by one of their technicians that wanted to clarify exactly what I wanted done and to quote me on how much it would cost.
In the end after hearing what I wanted done he simply asked for the original plastic maruzen parts and the original G&P springer internals that would be left behind to make a springer out of for employee of theirs for Christmas. Since I was expecting around 100$ for the work I decided to invest that right back into the gun and asked to get the gun duracoated as well in a deep dark earth to protect the finish and give it alittle more flavor.
Throughout the process I've been contacted twice more with updates about what work has been done and that now that the internals have been finished that the externals have been prepped and sent out for painting.
I'll save final judgment for when I get the gun back but so far I've been pleased with the quality of service received and happy to see they offer flat rate repair rates. They also can order parts that they don't carry for any work you want done but don't have everything in hand yet. And they seem to be eager to take on jobs that other regular shops may turn down.
I would say that the name is alittle bit of a poor choice due to that walmart brand airsoft gun series that go by the same name. Everything I can find seems to point that these two have nothing to do with eachother.
