I'm interested in doing a Devgru impression, so I was looking into PC's. Which of these, in your opinion would be the best choice. 1. The legendary Flyye Aor1 6094: www.shootercbgear.com/product_info.php?products_id=5833Prolly the most obvious choice. However, I'm more curious about these others PCs. 2. Mayflower APC (MC) Never seen it on SEALS, so I don't think it's a very good choice. Any opinions? Would it be appropriate for even a PJ impression? 3. Flyye Crye CAGE Chassis (Aor1) Got offered one of these, but haven't really seen any pics of Seals using it (pics anyone?) but I suppose it is possible that I just haven't looked hard enough. Also, I heard the Chassis is pretty comfy. 4. Flyye Crye JPC (MC) www.shootercbgear.com/product_info.php?products_id=7234It also comes in Aor1, but I've only seen Seals using it in MC. Those are the 4 I'm looking at. I may add more later if I find anymore. Any opinions on the best choice? Second best choice? As for a combat set, I'll be purchasing an Allwin Aor1 or Aor2 set in November. Would it be better if I bought the Aor1 first? I'm leaning towards the awesomeness of Aor2. I found a place (PY Airsoft) selling both, but haven't heard any reviews on the place yet. Any experience?

As a quick preface, SEALs and DEVGRU refer to two different entities when it comes to making an impression/gear. The stuff the non DEVGRU SEALs get is different. 6094 is good to go, at least for the last few years. I'm unsure about super modern stuff, but I suspect its still pretty popular. There's a photo of two SEALs on AOR2 on a flight deck airfield with a multicam APC I believe. The APC is definitely not an issued item though. I'd say pass on this item. I'd pass on the CAGE. I'm not sure that there has been a confirmed DEVGRU guy wearing a CAGE Chassis rather than a 'Navy' CPC with airlite cummerbund. There's a photo of a guy with an HK417 in an AOR1 CAGE Chassis, but I've never seen anything that definitively IDs that guy is DEVGRU or ACE/CAG. In regards to the JPC, I don't know of a photo off the top of my head that is for sure a normal JPC in MC in use by DEVGRU. They did purchase some multicam 'Navy' JPCs with flaps over the kangaroo pouch. They are also AOR1 NJPCs as well (photo below of a guy at a shooting class wearing one). I'd bet that regular JPCs in MC are/were used, there's a photo of a bunch of guys in multicam and on bikes that have Navy CPCs and I think a few were in JPCs. Been awhile since I've looked at it. Some company, VGC perhaps, is making NJPC replicas now. 6094 is probably the best choice. It spans the longest range of time and is very popular. It would also work for a SEALs loadout if you transition from DEVGRU.

APCs on the flight deck that Knife mentioned. Just adding it for reference since I had it handy.

That's just an airfield, I had always assumed it was on a boat but never paid much attention to the photo. In reference to the guys in MC on the motorcycles, they were wearing multicam NJPCs.

If you are still looking and want something on a budget look at the 6094 and Navy JPC from vgc. I know you can get them at jkarmy and maybe other places too. Another confirmed pc is the CPC (both navy in aor1 and regular in mc). I expect to see the AVS popping up soon as well. There is a lot more than the pc that will go into a good kit but there are decent replicas of a lot of stuff now so they have really come down in price if you aren't set on all real gear.
The pattern on the dpc you showed looks fine but it is clearly made by ferro since the velcro is a dead giveaway. If you spray the velcro white it would look fine. Ferro seems to use real aor1 and/or commercial DD depending on when it is made. Both are pretty much the same thing IIRC but the dd lacks the ir treatment. The dudes over on dtsix like to argue about what's what but it is pretty much the same. Even real aor1 from crye, lbt, eagle, etc vary greatly between batches and denier. The ones I'd watch out for are the clone fabrics. Flyye seems ok but tends to look pinkish under some lighting. TS stuff seems to look good but his sources are somewhat questionable as is the quality apparently. VGC seems really good and everything is priced right.

Too late. bought a used Flyye Aor1. I'm pretty happy with the Flyye for now. In the future, I'm interested in a VGC NJPC and maybe an upgrade to a RS Aor1 6094, but I've heard good stuff about the Flyye. Following will be some Allwins, and an emerson lid. Gots a plan, ya undershtand? Plan. Shee?

They keep coming down though. I've seen Bs for less than 1k and I think an A as well but I didn't have the cash on hand at the time to spring for it. It won't be too long before they drop under $1000 I suspect. As long as they continue to be issued more will flood the market and the prices will keep dropping. Remember when MJK and FSBE eagle stuff was through the roof? Now look where it is. Really it's the rare prototypes or early gen stuff that is rare that will hold its value. I'd personally love an old gen 6094 in AOR or CT but they are pretty hard to come by.
