Hey guys,
I'm looking for a rifle to get when I get back home and I was thinking about the G&P x Magpul PTS MOE Carbine. This will be my first gas rifle and I didn't find anything about this particular one in the board. I'm asking if anyone has any experience with these, how customizable they are, how they work in Michigan weather, and the reliability of GBB rifles in general.
Thanks.

I have the AEG Version of this replica. I love it. All I did internally was shim the gears and added a promy tight bore. It shoots straight. I have a couple of gas guns. They work OK. Not so good in the cool weather.

Instead of creating a whole new thread I am just going to add to this one. I've been looking at a couple of different GBBRs and came across the GHK G5: www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/GBB_Rifles_SMGs_GHK_GHK_G5_Gas_Blow_Back_Rifle_GBBR.htmI want a GBBR that would be pretty good right out of the box, not great but above average and that has room for mods/upgrades. I also want it to be able to use at Kalamazoo Airsoft events as well as regular field games, so good for CQB and the longer range outdoor games. Does anyone have any experience with these? I've looked at a lot of reviews but I haven't seen/heard about how the durability is in the long run. One thing that I did read that caught my attention was that it works a lot better in cooler weather than most GBBRs, which is obviously nice for the Michigan weather. Thanks.

Have you checked out KJW? I know there a few members on here who use them so they could give you better feedback than I. MS-Arc also has a great thread for pretty much all things KJW. Now, I don't a KJW, but I'm just saying if you haven't, look into them.
