I wanted to know if any of you have the matrix m16's? I'm looking at buying one, but would like to get some opinions first.
Can someone tell me the specs and how long before the first break in the weapon, any information, is greatly appreciated.

Gonna go ahead and state that I'm speaking from Common Knowledge and not experience, so I may be wrong on a few things but Matrix is evike's line of products. Their Matrix brand clones tend to be re-brands of All China Made (ACM) their quality is going to be roughly the quality of your low end Toyko Mauri clones. JG, CYMA, AGM, APS, etc. I wouldn't believe any of the Matrix line replicas are Lipo ready. They are cheaply made replicas that wouldn't be able to handle the extra juice and ROF a 11.1v Lipo would be putting through it. If you are looking for a replica that can handle a Lipo right out of the box, look for your higher end G&G's (Top Tech line) KWA, G&P, TM, etc.
If you're looking for a starter replica though, Matrix and other ACM's are generally good starts. One of the first things your gonna want to do is replace the stock barrel for better grouping and bucking for better air compression. All re-shimming your gun or having someone re-shim it will help with gearbox life, along with correcting the Angle Of Engagement.
