Figured now is the time to post in case any MIA guys who haven't gone to Irene yet are interested. Right now it is scheduled for the weekend of October 11th. Registration is at Noon on August 12th. Unfortunately Irene is a much more expensive game than Northern Light. I believe last year the non-alumni price was $250 and the alumni price was $215. Payment is due in full starting on noon on August 12th. Last year, they did the classic Irene of Charlie (DCU) vs Delta (M81 woodland). This year its back to being Task Force Ranger vs Freedom Fighters. Task Force Ranger is still only DCU where Freedom Fighter is pretty much the same camo rules as the Milita side at Northern Light except they have never had a problem with MC on the Freedom Fighter side. Irene has a limited number of slots and the TFR side tends to fill up with in minutes where the Freedom Fighter side can go a few weeks without filling up. The past few Irene's were at Mustkatituk (I'm deliberately misspelling it) Urban Training facility in Indiana. Now it's back at the Zussman Urban Training facility that is know for having SEALs and Rangers train there. It is also known for its pyrotechnics. There sound effects, loud explosions sounds and fire. Zussman is listed as being located at Ft. Knox Kentucky (by being located they mean an hour away). Relarz and I have both been to Zussman and enjoyed it.

TFR:
CO. Col. (ret) McKnight
Delta MSG (ret) Mad Max Mullen
Recon Sgt. Keni Thomas
Somali:
Warlord Dobroff
WarLord Bubba
Relarz and I are planning on going Freedom Fighter since I've done the high speed Ranger side the last few times and Relarz wants to break out the orange life vest again. sphotos-e.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-prn2/8719_1172201625711_6874073_n.jpg
We are anticipating the Freedom Fighter side being extra fun since we have both Bubba and Dobroff as our leaders. If any of you guys plan to join us on the Freedom Fighter side bear in mind that this will be the game where Mullen is surrounded by the Ohio Strykers so if you shoot him or any of the Strykers don't expect them to call it. I've witness it. If you go on TFR you will enjoy that too. Mullen takes the Strykers and does his own thing and McKnight is cool and awesome to deal with (Unless your GMR). Hope to see many MIA guys go. The few who joined us last year loved it.
Best video I can find that's short as an example of the pyro. www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCdAY4PicKU
