Confusing transaction so far with Redwolf

I am a huge redwolf fan especially because I've won a few major items from them and all my transactions have gone well so far.

That being said, I wanted to share what I am going though right now just because of how confusing its getting. I'm still in the middle of it so I'm hoping it will turn out well.

A few weeks ago I ordered an Ares SL8. Paid right away and provided them all the necessary info. Checked the page a day later and noticed that the item was out of stock so I sent them an e-mail just to make sure that my order made it before it went out of stock.

Got this response from REP#1:

Thank you for your email. Regarding your order XXX, the package has already reserved that before out of stock. we will proceed to ship out as soon as possible. Thank you.

So far so good. A day later I get this e-mail from a different rep, REP#2:

Dear Sir,
Thank you for ordering from Redwolf Airsoft. Regarding order# XXX, due to database issue the following item is out of stock.
Product: ARES ASL8
We apologize for any inconvenience caused, and please kindly choose other airsoft products from our website, or just simply advise us the product name and product code by reply

Very confusing seeing as I just got an e-mail saying one was put aside for me so I forward him the e-mail from REP#1.

A day later I get this response from the original REP#1:

Thank you for your email. we are sorry to inform you that the item ARES ASL8 code SR-002 is out of stock, We apologize for any inconvenience caused, thank you.

So yeah confused even more. No explanations on anything and it looks like I'm not getting what I ordered. Later that same day I get this automated message from redwolf (3rd different contact):

Thanks for choosing us! Your order has been shipped!

Order Number: XXX

Shipping Carrier: Courier Mail (Express)

Shipping Company: Speedpost

Tracking Number: EAXXX1HK

Confused again. Checked my redwolf account and I get the same info that it was in fact shipped. So it looks like I'm getting my stuff after all. I figured that nobody seems to be communicating over there so I'm just going to wait to see what arrives. A few days later I get this e-mail from REP#2:

Hi,
Thank you for your email. For that email, my colleague is just letting you know your order is in process, but we’ve been told by our warehouse team that there is an item out of stock, so you can simply refer my email for latest update, and please advise if you want alternative item instead, thank you.

Definitely completely confused. I sent him the automated message with my tracking info and now waiting to hear back. Anyone else go through anything like this with redwolf?

I will update this thread as the drama ensues.

It reads like a sitcom. I did not have any issue like this when I ordered my DD rail from them back a couple months ago.

Hi,
Thank you for your email. Please just ignore below email and believe the out of stock item has been found, therefore your order has shipped, thank you.

So I think I'm getting what I ordered? I guess its a waiting game to see what actually comes in.

UPDATE:

The item arrived yesterday. If it wasn't for the confusing communications I had and the seemingly lack of communications within their own department, this would have been another flawless purchase from Redwolf.

Was worried for a little bit but it's here and I am happy to get one of the last available ones.
