Ok, my brother wants this gun, I need to know some things before I can let him get it. So can you put a scope on it? and how many shots do you get per fill of gas? were does the gas go, ex in the stock, in the mag? And finally how much are extra mags?
Thanks a lot.

I was wondering about this gun as well, on the AEG pages along with a SA80. I know now that the Carbine is a SSB (Single Shot Bolt). Not sure what that means, but it's not what I had in mind. I thought it'd be like an AEG, just shoot till the clip runs out. You can go on uncompany.com to find one, since companies outside the US are the only places I've found to get them. The gun is $240-$260 and the clips are $40.

I think you can attach a scope, but I wouldn't since the gun is no made for sniping. As for how many shots with it full of gas, I'm not sure.

Where'd you find one in the US at? I don't want to pay $100+ shipping for one from Hong Kong along with the total price of the gun itself.

few things about the Marushin carbine:
1) The gun is Bolt action. you're going to pull back the charging handle after each shot.
2) the gun gets about 60-70 shots per filll out of the magazine. so you can reload it a couple times in the field
3) you can get an M1 Carbine scope mount and mount it on the gun. (at least the article at Arnies Airsoft says so.)
4) gas goes in the magazine.
5) extra mags cost 40 dollars overseas (figure 45-50 here)

I didn't find one in US, I found it at www.uncompany.com and I think he should get an AK, do you guys know how much FPS it has with greengas, were playing at my house and I dont like the thought of a gas rifle. knowing the JAC M16 series had 500 FPS With red gas, he might use red gas in his too. So its got about 500 I've heard?

Shipping for an AEG from overseas is more like $50-60, not $100. I just put a quote in the other day for an M733 and 4 mags from UNco, and the shipping came to $60. Maybe if you ordered a bunch of heavy bags of BBs along with your gun, then the shipping would jump that high. Please try and know what you're talking about before posting.... It'll make me happy.

Well, I buy my BB's from www.airsoft128.com they have very very good deals on bb's and gas and stuff, and he's gonna buy the gun from un. And and for later on, how do you install a metal body and " front set " to an AK47? And the wood set I think Is a no brainer, { Think }

Actually I know what I'm talking about and did the math for it. It came out to about $100 since they determain shipping price on weight, and this was express mail too.

If you want to know for sure how much shipping will be for an order, put in a quote request from the retailer. That's the only way to know with 100% certainty what you'll be paying for shipping. I can tell you right now though that there's no way shipping will cost $100 for an AEG alone. Like I said though, depending on what else you get with it, it could go that high. What all are you including in your order, to get to the $100 shipping figure?

Cactus, you are clearly a noob, and an idiot to boot.
a while back, i ordered an M3 greasegun and 3 magazines. each magazine weighs in at around a pound and a half.
in the same order, i bought an AK 47 with a hicap.
the shipping ran to around 70 dollars FOR ALL THAT.
the greasegun with mags was about 2x as heavy as the AK-47.
stupid noobs.
BTW. if someone is giving you that as a shipping figure, you are clearly getting raped out the ass for shipping.

It depends on the weight of the product, go look for yourself. Also, if you continue labling (lableing?) people, you yourself show your ignorance and common sense.

want to try again? the M3A1 weighs in at around 2.5 Kilograms.
The M1 Carbine weighs in at 2 Kilograms. The package i ordered with my M3A1 and AK came in at around 12 Kilograms...or around 24 pounds for around 70 dollars..
you're getting ripped.
As for my labeling people....i call them as i see them. So far as revealing the downsides of my character, many people on this board can vouch for me personally...how many can vouch for you?
You're clearly lying about this shipping issue...that doesn't bode well, does it? i doubt it sits well with many of the older members.
