Depends on a lot of things: wear, quality, performance, and preference to name a few. In the end it's your choice.

Wait until you have used your gun long enough to determine what you are looking for your gun to do, that it currently isn't. Also, search for information on your gun. Find out if people feel the gears are worthwhile keeping. If they are absolute crap and should be replaced, I would be inclined to run the gearbox stock until they break. If the gears are salvageable, then likely your gun would benefit from a good re-shimming of the gears, correcting the piston AoE, and checking/fixing compression. The first two being the most important, for the longevity of your gearbox.
Next you need to determine if the gun is shooting as far as you would like, and if it is as accurate at that distance as you would like. My general rule of thumb on this is, am I outdistancing people, or are they reaching me without me being able to return fire. These two can be tightly weaved together, for how to address them, so that is why I lumped them together. I would wait till you've played a few more games before judging the need to change anything here. Not because it's too difficult, or too extensive, but because the only game you have played at was seriously windy. You can not accurately get an assessment on them in those conditions.
Last, does your rate of fire meet your expectations. I left this for last since in my mind it is truly not that important. If you are able to rip BBs through your gun at 50RPS, you will end up needing to change your mags every two seconds. I would take range and accuracy over RPS any day. Now, if your firing an M4 and it's shooting as slow as an M249, you might want to look into increasing that some. Personally, when I'm rolling with my M4, it's on semi-auto 95% of the time. But a good ROF will also increase trigger response, so there is still done good in a decent ROF. Personally, I would consider anywhere near 20RPS to be decent.

how long should i wait till i replace my internals or upgrade them on my gun I already warned you once about your posting style. You need to find your shift key and start punctuating your sentences.
