I don't have one currently, but I have had two of these.
Construction: Fairly Solid, but pretty much all plastic, if you are a stickler for metal I wouldn't recommend it. 3/5
Feel: I have small hands, and it is a rather large pistol. So keep this in mind. 3/5
Performance: 1. They shoot great, and are very quiet. 2. They are Non-blowback, so if you want the realism is isn't for you. 3. I had issues with my mags in both of mine, one used, one new. Could have been a flop, who knows. Worked fine once I fixed them. 4/5
Overall its a good pistol. You'll have trouble finding a nice place for it on your kit, as it is rather large, especially if you want to run it with the suppressor. However, if you can get past that it's a great sidearm. They shoot great. I had both of mine when I ran bolt actions, and the quietness of the MK23 worked well with the sniper role. If you want something more suited to rocking and rolling, but still the same feel, look into USPs.

The range is pretty fantastic. My biggest complaint about it is that shooting it accurately is difficult. The gun itself puts bbs out a long way and right where it's pointed. The problem is, because it's a NBB, the trigger pull is long and stiff and keeping the thing pointed at your target through the trigger pull isn't easy. For that reason, I've never been a big fan of the gun. If you're used to shooting double action pistols or more willing to learn than I am, everything else about it is pretty fantastic.

And if you are only using it to take out that one line player getting too close, you can always thumb the hammer first to shorten that pull. Though Knief's point is a valid one I forgot about.
As for range, I guess about 120 feet was the farthest I ever shot mine.
Thanks for making me want one again...

I absolutely love mine and carry it for most woods games. The sheer size makes it a mediocre sidearm for dealing with an MED, but being able to engage targets so quietly can break a situation wide open. At one of the Safari Strike games in Ohio some years back, I used my Mk23 to defend myself in a nasty spot. I had some concealment but absolutely no cover, and I could hear enough opposing players moving around to think that trying to relocate would be fatal. I pulled my Mk23, attached the silencer, and used it to take out the two players searching near my actual vicinity. It made very little noise and they acted with good sportsmanship, so the rest of the searchers puttered around out of reach, and I was able to lie low and then exfil.
I also have vivid memories of a GK practice where we knew that only Jacko was left, with his m249. We based our tactics on the assumption we were trying to locate and take out a SAW, and most SAW gunners would naturally look for a strong position to dig in and make the most of their firepower. But Jacko had actually dropped his SAW, switched to his Mk23, and gone mobile. If I recall correctly, he killed all of us.
<3 the Mk23.

I feel like with more detail, this would be a cool Tale of Valor. You see a lot of stories like this on there, usually posted by a 14-year-old with no concept of grammar or composition. I like neat-o stealth stories...

I have two right now and they are a blast to use. They feel like they are made from a quality plastic but the over all feel is sort of cheap. It's all plastic and the LAM unit is sort of a joke, but if you run a MK23 without a LAM you might as well just use a USP. With the suppressor equipped they are as close to silent and you can realistically get.
The most annoying issue with them is the mag pressure relief valve. I can only assume that valve was placed there to prevent using propane and a longer barrel to reach 500+ FPS levels. I don't know the law in Japan but as far as I know this is the only pistol equipped with a relief valve. When using propane that valve will slowly bleed pressure until it reaches R134a/duster levels. To permanently disable that valve you will have to drill out a half length pin that prevents the removal of the mag base plate. I did 5 or 6 mags and it was a huge pain. The Y&P MK23 is a clone of the TM MK23, and the Y&P mags do not have the relief valve. I have read people use the Y&P mags in the TM but I have never done so myself.
I have also noted the range of the pistol is usually over stated. On other forums I have seen claims of 150'-200' torso shots being normal and some people claiming 300' shots. While the MK23 has the wonderful VSR-10 hop up bucking, it does not have the same hop up chamber. While I believe the MK23 has the potential to shoot extreme long range with some mods, factory stock it will shoot around 100' give or take depending on gas used, temperature, bb's, etc. Despite what I have seen written on forums I can not use either of mine as a "sniper pistol" in stock form.
As others have mentioned the trigger is really the part that is make or break. I always pull the trigger back lightly until the sear connects instead of pulling the hammer back so I'm always ready to fire. Taking it slow and making your first shot count is important. The second shot is a pretty long pull away. If you are used to that crisp short pull on a GBB the MK23 will take getting used to. The other big thing to consider is the size. It's big, really big. When I use mine I use them as a primary. I don't enjoy having such a large sidearm swinging around while I run and honestly I don't have enough space on my belt to holster it there.
I also have a KWA MK23 and find it to be exceptional in its own ways. If you try the TM MK23 and find the trigger to be too difficult to get used to the KWA might be an option. It however is not silent at all.
Bottom line it's an awesome pistol but not all that practical. If you are willing to learn to use a DOA pistol and have enough space to carry it around I highly suggest it.
