Speaking from experience, low profile look sweet as hell, but fog like crazy. I about broke my smith elites in half this last weekend out of frustration. Get something that'll sit away from your face a bit more and you'll be glad you did.

I would say the two most common goggles I see out in the field are Bolle T-800s and ESS NVGs. I have used and owned both of these goggles and have found that they perform very well. Many others on the boards will say the same thing.

Both of Sandbur's recommendations work well. Personally, I'm a huge fan of revision eyewear. They're fantastic, and with the exception of their low profile exoshield a, I've never had any issues with fogging.

I second the Bolle T800s, I love mine. If you can find a pair, buy them.

The T800s are a pain to find. If you stumble on a pair for a good price, jump on it. The ESS models you'd be looking for are the Profiler or Turbofan (they're the same goggles, but the Turbofan has a fan built in). I love my Turbofans; it doesn't seem like it would do much, but that little fan makes all the difference in the world.

I have a pair of the Smith Optics OTW Turbo Fans, I love them, they don’t fog but they do get condensation on them every now and then. As long as I wipe them out every chance I get, like between games, they work great. Have an older pair of ESS Profile as well and they fogged up on me until I got a thermal lens, then they were perfect. Finding the thermal lens is not an easy task since they are discontinued and I paid a premium for mine. The ESS profiles where not a new set so maybe they have made changes and the newer ones are better.

Human watch the double post, that kind of thing is frowned upon on this forum use the modify option. Some snowboarding goggles will work as long as they have the right rating. miairsoft.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=r-n-r&action=display&thread=6786Article 3 • Eye protection must be of the completely sealed type (there must be contact with the eyewear frame and face, fully surrounding the eyes). Lenses must meet the minimum rating of ANSI Z87.1, MIL-V-43511C, or ASTM F 1776-01.*Edited-02/18/04, Frostee From what I have read Smith Optics snowboarding goggles meet this requirement, not sure if all do. www.smithoptics.com/faq.html/I got my Smith Optics through Optics Planet for $103.00 + free shipping with a coupon, originally $109.99. Since then they have gone up to $127.99.
