Hi everyone. My name Jason, but have been called Brush for longer than I can remember. Since I never made an introduction, I’ll start with a little bit of the back story. I was originally introduced to airsoft more than ten years ago. During that time I only participated in back yard games and never took it any farther than that. A few years ago my nephew, Nolan, became very interested in playing and I got back into it. That is when I came across this forum as well as others, and found out how big airsoft was. In December we went to our first rec game, and have attended about 10 since. We have mostly played at Kalamazoo Airsoft, but made it out to Hell Survivors earlier this month. I now want to move towards attending some milsim events, and want to build a new load out since all my gear is currently ACU.
Last week in my college writing class at WCC I was assigned a research paper. My professor is awesome and only has two requirements. One, the question must be something you don’t know the answer to; second, you must want to know the answer. Monday night I asked him what he thought about writing my paper on how I will pick the gear I end up going with. He thought it was a great idea and liked that it would serve two purposes. So far I have not started on this project but already know there is plenty of information on this forum that I can use. The only problem is one of my sources must be first hand. I can interview someone for this source, which doesn’t have to be face to face. I can do an experiment, which really doesn’t apply to this topic, or I can use a survey. Before I get too far into this project, I turn to all of you for some feedback. What do you guys think? Would any of you be interested in answering some questions about your gear? Would any of you be willing to take a survey? All questions and concerns would be appreciated as well.
Thanks
