I commonly get my .20g and .25g 6mm Javelin, G&G, or King Arms ammo for about $20 for 5000 rounds. However some tell me that you can get the same ammo for a lower price. If this is true, what store or site can I go to to find it?

bulkairsoftammo.com and pyramydair.com have pretty cheap prices. As far as particular brands, goldenball is pretty cheap and high quality.

I use Elite Force .25's, they run maybe $12-14 for 5000 rounds.

The only issue with that article is that it is eight years old, and there are a lot of brands out now that weren't out at that time. Bioval, bioshot, goldenball, and a few others are solid brands that weren't in that review and are probably some of the most used BBs by the people on ASM now.

I've always used G&G from ASGI, $10 to $13 for 5K

I use .20 elite force bb's. Like $10 for 5,000 from airsoft gi.
Just checked airsoft gi and they don't have the 5,000 containers anymore, and bulk airsoft ammo has them for $16 for one bottle.

This is true, but the alternative to is pick a BB based on subjective reports. I'll take an old article with data vs nothing at all. If there's scientific studies to prove that there are better BBs out there then I'm totally open to switching. I don't know of any. Sent from my DROID RAZR using proboards

I use crossmen befor you all say they suck listen! I started using them 10 years ago when yes they sucked, they didn't stay straight and had cracking issues. Now I bought a bottle for my teams last op (operation payback) and had them fired out of my bosses m4, they actually held up and didn't chip or crack, and this gun cronoes at 400 even so I can say they don't suck they are just inconsistent.

I would still say Crosman BB's suck. In my humble opinion, inconsistent BB's are bad. Also, in my experience with Crosman brand BB's, whether they're 0.2 or even 0.12 gram BB's they will shatter on impact. Also visible seams are visible on most of their BB's. It's ok if you like them (they are dirt cheap after all) but I would not recommend them for any gun other than cheap springers or LPEGS. Just my ¢2.

You could also use them in grenades and launcher shells. Although I would prefer .12s for that application. Maybe .20s for launchers.

I just buy somewhat in bulk from evike. Yesterday I made an order for 6 bottles of elite force .20's 5000 round bottles for 10 bucks and 5 bags of .25's 5000 by evike's matrix brand. Both are good quality, and with the free shipping coupon it comes out to be a lot cheaper than at my cqb field.

Just buy a 100,000 round case. Works out to like $8 a bag.
