I have been poking around the internet looking at the different shotgun designs. I'm kinda hoping to get another shotgun to add with my m500. And I found these. It looks like those ones you can get at Dunhams. But the ones at Dunhams actually have a functianal hop-up.What makes these better than their cheap clone brothers? Are they metal? Has anybody had any experience using the maruzen ? redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/Shotguns_Maruzen_Maruzen_CA870_Pistol_Grip_Shotgun.htmThanks,

It doesn't seem to be one of the tri shot guns. I would assume that the dunham's one's don't have as many metal parts or are made of inferior metal composites.

The spring shotguns found at sporting goods stores I've found to be almost exactly alike internally. They all seem to be built around the same base gun and differ only aesthetically. As far as I know the ones at Dunhams are full plastic and fire at 350 FPS, single shot. A model similar to the one you posted can be had for $40 new at Dunhams. But it would be plastic, durable yet totally ugly. The maruzen is likely better quality but not worth over $100. If I were you I'd get a tri shot if you're looking for skirmish-ability but get a metal exterior one if you're going for looks.
Just my 2ยข.

Yeah there is no way Im getting this. I have a m500, and with 5 rounds coming per trigger pull. There is no way Im going back to single shot. Tri-shot for me next. The CA870 just caught my curiosity.
