Time to double check my 'airsoft' homework. First off, I have a spring A&K SVD, totally stock. Used gun, last owner took crappy care of it. Left BBs in the chamber. Chorodoed at 100 fps yesterday. My friend who is great with spring sniper rifles ?(his L96 is crazy good) checked it out last night. The O ring and compression is good on it. Time for the upgrades: www.evike.com/product_info.php?products_id=37449I wanted to know if this actually works/helps in combat or just some flashy add on that doesn't really do anything. Planning to get a new bucking for it. This gun is famous for it's double feeding but the chances of it double feeding can be cut down by pulling the bolt back a specific way not to bad. But I saw online that if I get a harder bucking, the chances of double feeding will be cut down even more. Is this true? And which one would be the best? Spring time. Found this spring online: www.evike.com/product_info.php?products_id=31460M150 spring. Nice reviews. AEG spring (SVD takes them). Nice price. But is this worth the cost? Here is where it gets harder, I know for the bucking and spring, I would like to get the total cost under $20 from evike and airsoft gi because they both have 20% off deals going on and I only have $25 in my Paypal account. Don't feel like taking more money out of my account. If I have the extra cash, I might get the longer bolt.

In regards to the bolt extension, it gives you more area to grab on to for spring SVD's, making the bolt easier to pull back. Personally, I have no problem pulling back the stock m150 spring which leveled at 475 fps. And I think any old AEG spring will work. The double feeding problem can be resolved by pulling the bolt back in one quick motion and letting it ride forward with the assistance of your hand. If the problem persists, then you may use this video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=49p7bJt4hOwIf you are comfortable with overseas ordering there is a online store in the Czech Republic that makes their own CNC'ed hop-up units which I think is a must have when making any sort of accuracy upgrade with the rifle. The sight is called Airsoft Pro: airsoftpro.cz/eshop/product_info.php?currency=USD&products_id=1814&osCsid=03218be090bff215dd160
