I'm a member but I am not able to send PM's. I don't think I have earned enough permissions on the site to do that. On top of that, they have strict rules before your posts will be allowed.

Is anyone here on MIA a member there as well and can send PM's to other members?

I'm trying to purchase a gun but have no way of getting a hold of the seller.

First you must make a post here:

Then, once a mod approves it, you have full privileges. until then you cannot do much of anything.

The problem is I already made a post there introducing who I was and what experience I have. The post was not approved.

If you think MIA is tough, try that forum.

I just need someone with PM privelages to send a guy my contact info.

I know, my first post was unapproved, then I made another one and must have waited two months before I was magically granted privileges.

Maybe PM the moderator. IIRC it only took me a day or two to get approved. I think the trick is saying more than "Hi my name is ___." This was what I said:

"Hello, my name is Paul and I am from the U.S.
On Airsoft Retreat I go by the name Hippo_Gangster. I only own couple guns, all of which are gas, Becasue I hate the sound of AEGS and I don't want to have to deal with all the complicated wiring and stuff like that. My first gun ever was an HFC G17 GBB, which was closely followed by a KSC G18C. I then acquired a Well G55 MP5K, and I then got my first GBBR, an GHK AKS74U (old version). I don't know that much about some of my gas guns, but I hope spending some time on these forums will change that."
