I am asking about these goggles, because they seem to have awesome ventilation. The problem is that there is a less than 6mm gap between the housing of the goggle, and the lens(i watched a video with a demonstration that a bb can not fit in between the gap). This is what is supposed to make them "fog free". So, if i take them to a game/field and demonstrate that the gap is not big enough, will they be considered full seal, and allowed? Anyone who has, or knows anyone who has used these in an mia sanctioned match, please respond.

The real issue/concern would be the hardness of the material of the frame.
Just trying to push/press a bb between the lens and the frame won't give you the force of a bb coming out of a replica.
Honestly for the $20 pricetag, I would invest in a pair of Arenas or ESS, both of which can be found for around that price and not chance my eyes.
As a player and an event host, I would be uneasy about goggles that have a gap between lenses and frames.

The Bolles that many players swear by featured a small gap, so the existence of such gap isn't a dealbreaker. My paintball mask is perforated and I don't see why a linear gap is all that much worse than a pattered one. The question would be how big the gap is. Individual event operators make the final determination, not MIA admins.

Those look like copies of Bolle T-800s, which have been allowed at games for years. They do fog in my experience if you are sitting still, but as soon as you move they clear up. Airflow clears the fog, but they aren't completely fog-proof.

I just bought some ESS NVG. And ripped the foam out of the top. There is still a hard rubber bars that are tight together keeping it full seal. And they never fog. I got the goggle for 12$ at hubbards in flint.

I ended up ordering a pair of ESS profiles, and a pair of flakjaks for fourty or so dollars all together on Ebay. I figure I can try them both out and whichever ones i like least will be my loaner pair for friends.

I might buy these as a secondary to my bulky ass flakjacks.

I bought a pairt of these at OP: Origins at Splatmandu after half an hour of game play. It was so humid out that my MI-7 full mask (which I have NEVER had a fogging issue with) fogged up, and so did my double pane, thermal lens goggles (can't remember the brand.) Used them the rest of the day, and as long as I kept my head moving around every once in a while they were amazing. The only problem is when I was assigned to guard a sector around the Chemical Factory, and was watching one area for about an hour. Nice trick that I discovered was to turn the gap of the glasses into the wind so that it flows through.

Wiley X Spear and Wiley X Nerve are both nice low profile goggles that don't seem to fog up.
