Above is a photo someone sent me of an airsoft gun they are trying to sell me. He says it's a Classic Army M-21 EBR. Looked it up online and couldn't find a pic like the one above. The scope mount and there isn't another shorter barrel under the main long barrel (totally forgot the name of it, leaving me with a blank). Could this be a older model CA M-21 or something else? Is there any marks on the real CA M-14 or M-21 that can help me ID it in real life when I see it in person. Any trade marks on it? He just told me that it's all metal but not the handguard on the bottom.

I can tell just by looking at those M14 magazines that they are not Classic Army M14 magazines. Those are in fact Tokyo Marui style magazines. Only Tokyo Marui, CYMA, or KART/ECHO 1 EBR's us TM style M14 magazines. Here's what a Classic Army style M14 magazine looks like. G&G M14's/HBR/EBR's also use CA style magazines. www.evike.com/product_info.php?products_id=28830Notice that the TM magazines in the picture are completely flat, where-as the CA style magazine looks like it has a corner of the back of the magazine missing? So if those are the magazines that work in that gun then it's NOT a Classic Army EBR.

Not CA. CA's magazines have a square taken off of the top (rear portion of the mag). My guess is that that is a KART EBR. Looks like the outer barrel is missing some things as well.
Edit: Gunny beat me to it.

I learned something new today! Thanks guys. My question is if all of the stuff shown (only two high caps) is worth $50. He said that in the box shown is a bunch of M-14 stuff. Said that the gun works.

Got it. There is a ton of fun goodies in the box. Scope mounts, extra mags for the guns, CO2 bottles for the pistol, some extra springs and so much more. Even two metal top parts that has the rear iron sight on it. Traded that shitty G3 I was trying to get rid of. Drove 35 mins but it was worth it. It looks like the part that holds the pistol grip and stock is at an angle. Still, it works great.
