Any experience with obtaining replacement o-rings and repair of magazines that leak? Any cautions, tips or tricks and sources of information would be appreciated before I get into it. I've got two KWA Glock magazines that won't hold gas. Thanks, dek

One of my favorite things about MiA is that we have guides for everything: miairsoft.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=gas&action=display&thread=23989Follow the basic steps in those guides (make sure to scroll down for the TM mag guide) and you'll be set. I've used the same ideas, thick lube on seals and teflon tape on threading, on all of my leaky mags and it's fixed them right up. Unless you have an o-ring that's absolutely obliterated either from freezing and cracking (don't purge your gas manually!) or deterioration (don't use petroleum based lubricants!), you shouldn't have to replace it.

I've got the KWA, Glock M19 magazine completely disassembled. The base of the magazine, where the fill valve goes, has a brass tube that was separated from the base. It appears to be a "press" fit. Am I correct? And will just pushing it back into the base hold it sufficiently to prevent it coming out again? What purpose does it serve? I also put silicone around the base rubber "O" ring in hope that it will swell. Thanks, dek
