Soft Shell Jacket Questions

Well I keep getting asked what I want for Christmas from the misses and am really thinking I would like a soft shell jacket. While I would love to have one, I certainly cant ask her to spend big money on a legit PCU jacket. I'm looking for input on the clone type jackets that are out there, I'm hoping some of you guys have experience with these. Thanks MiA!

Two options I am considering are the Rothco and Condor.

I've had the same Condor soft shell for over 2 years now and it's held up pretty well. Absolutely no problems to speak of so far. I haven't handled the Rothco one but if it's anything like what Rothco usually produces, I'd stay away from it if I were you.

I'd bet good money that those products came off the exact same line and shipped out of the exact same factory.

Almost the same here, I've had my Condor for almost a year now, and its held up very well, with only a small hole in the pocket. I'm gonna go with Jonezy about Rothco, I've only had bad with this and their rebrand, UFC.

Thanks for the info fellas! That clone PCU is really nice Mosin but the misses is pretty much set on ordering from a US seller(amazon).

I think I'm going to get the condor.
