I am not proud to say this but my first gbbr was a wells m4 cqb. Besides the loading nozzle everything is stock. I have put close to 8k rounds through it using green gas, propane, and even co2. Now here's what I don't get. Besides putting in an all aluminum loading nozzle on my wells, I have never had to change anything, but my Western Arms m4 has worn out internals after just 3k rounds. I use the same mix of mags between both guns, but the wells is holding up better. Can anyone give insight as to why the wells would hold up better than a more quality manufacturer?

Is the WA running at a higher FPS then your Well? I've heard nothing but bad things about the Well GBBRs. Bad luck? I mean if your treating them equally and you have had the WAs correctly installed replacement theirs really no reason why. Are you getting your WA second hand?

Both were bought brand new, and they both are shooting right below 400fps

I don't know that much about GBBRs, but from everything I've heard, the Well, WE, and WA GBBRs are kind of hit and miss. Although you are right, the WA *should* hold up better than the Well. Either the Well is a gem, or the WA is a lemon. Maybe someone with a little more knowledge with GBBRs can chime in.

Really, that would ride entirely on the stock [metal] internals of both said manufacturers and their QC. I heard and read numerous accounts of GBBR failures, whether used or new and upgraded all to hell, of the WE, KA, G&P, WA and Well on gasgunsinfo.com before I got back into GBBRs. Those platforms always seem to require some upgrade to make them better out of the box. Usually being that of RA-Tech. Plus, I've had a WE M4, it was total junk. Damned thing just turned into a money pit. Sure it was cool, it could accept certain real-steel parts, but, yay, it was a POS. Three letters for a GBBR to think about, KJW, and [maybe] even the KWA LM4. Perhaps also VFC. Though not three letters, if you ever have the money, Inokatsu. KJW has upgrades from Cradle Airsoft, though it doesn't really need any other than the Velocity Reducer. The KJW's hop is pretty damned good for a GBBR too, compared to the WE I had. They're very consistent, bout as consistent as an AEG. And their mags just don't seem to want to leak either, a major plus. Internals are solid, as I've not had one issue. I'm sure M.S.-ARC can attest to all of this with his KJW M4s, too. He's got three, ha ha. *I was so impressed by the KJW GBBR though, that I sold my G&G GR-25 to Ghast to get a second KJW M4 to try and catch up to ARC.

Thanks pxranger. I've been looking into KJW recently and was considering buying one to toy with.
