I recently sold my WE M1911 because i was unsatisfied with it. So now i'm without a secondary and don't know what GBB to get. What GBB pistol or SMG can I be sure that when I take it out of the box it will perform well without many upgrades?

Most suggestions will be KWA and TM. Tokyo Marui is the base for almost all other brand's models, so there will still be some inherent flaws in the system (like how their single stack 1911 mags don't hold much gas and they're not too efficient with it). That bring said, they're still a great brand, and have TONS of upgrade parts that can make up for the flaws. KWA is the gun that'll work as expected out of the box without many issues. That being said, they aren't TM based, so upgradability is limited, and magazines are expensive.they so offer some unique models that not many other manufacturers produce, like the MP9, M93R, and CZ75.

Thanks! I might go for the M93R, I really like the real steel M93R, and if the airsoft replica is 3 round burst too, I want to get my hands on it!

I enjoy the hell out of my m93r but if you're looking for something full auto capable between a pistol and an SMG, look into the MP7. That thing can range at or over most AEGs stock with .4 bb's.

Kwa is good if you want good performances out the box and metal parts. Marui and western arms are even better, but have plastic parts. I would recommend Marui over wa, parts are easier to find. I would personally pick marui out of all three, but if you have a small budget, go with kwa.
