Hello all, I have the TSD full length metal barrel tri shot shotgun. I noticed once when I was plinking around that suddenly it feels like the sears aren't engaging when I try to pump the springs back. I'm assuming this is the problem because when I pull it back, it doesn't engage and just releases when I let go of the pump grip. I'm nervous about taking apart one of these things and was hoping someone could give me some good advice on how to get replacement parts or how to disassemble the gun.
Thanks in advance. ~Shadow

I meant to make a disassemble guide for them because a lot of people seem to think you can't take them apart. In reality they are just big spring pistols held together with 50 screws. I can't promise you anything, but if I get some free time I can take one of mine apart for you and build a guide. I haven't taken one apart in a long time, but on the M3 style I'm pretty sure you need to remove the stock and pistol grip and then the body can be pulled off. At that point you can see the frame, main spring, nozzles, and possibly the sears. Be careful as the safety lever can fall out. You might be able to find the issue at that point. If not disassembly is pretty much removing the pump, the pump arms, the front barrel/mag connector, barrel, mag, and then splitting the frame.
Do you have the M3 or M1014 style? How much experience do you have working on guns? If you can take apart an AEG you can take apart a Tri Shot.
Lastly, I don't think you can get replacement parts for them. They are pretty cheap and very reliable so the aftermarket doesn't really support them. You could try sending TSD an email, but I doubt they would be able to help you much.

I know I could take it apart, but there's no point if I don't have any parts to fix it. I guess I got my answer then. That sucks. I put a lot of love into this thing to make it look good. And it is an M3 style.
