How close is this to Louisville? I'm asking this because I go down there once or twice a year to visit family, and I have several cousins who play airsoft too. We tried to go to the Asylum earlier this year, but their schedule was abruptly changed. Nice to see more places opening up in KY.

It`s around 3-4 hours i believe from Louisville, we started it up because of the lack of airsoft in Western Kentucky and Kentucky in general. Only places we could go were to Bad Karma and Springfield which are both 3 hour drives or so from here. We plan on fully opening in Spring 2013, that may change cause we are getting more and more building material and other items to add to the field and starting to work a lot more on the field. Actually just got back from working on a section of it. Also if you know of anyone down here or even close, cause we border Missouri and Illinois, spread the word to them because we are trying to see just how much interest we will get.

Alright guys been working the past few days on the field, we got a little tower up in the area that will soon be one of three compounds that will be on the field, also decided the box truck needed a new paintjob. We plan on starting construction on the compound tomorrow, today was just clearing out the general area for it as well as clearing some of the existing trails that will run to it. New paint scheme on the old box truck First tower that will soon become the compound, that`s from yesterday so it`s a lot more cleared out now.

I'm aware of this, I passed this by a mod before posting.

I guess you found the one guy who will care about a "kinda" field so many states away that most won't travel there just to play Airsoft. Just out of curiosity why post about a field so far away?

Because as you may have seen one guy comes down this way every now and then. Also I know for a fact not everyone on here is from Michigan and considering where im at I have 3 states close by two of them only a few minutes away it doesn't hurt to post on here. I've managed to get a few people so far from here im just drumming up interest as we build the field.
