I will disclose everything on my launcher. I'll start a thread on it in the NL4 sub forum, when it gets cleansed. It resembles plans that I found online, but I differed in some aspects. The instructions were a little vague at times so I'll try to fill in the blanks. Also, it didn't give info on where to buy materials, I'll cover that as well. It turns out that some of the materials aren't the easiest to find. I will also give details on the things I tried, that failed. The grenade also has a little quirk that I will discuss. Another very important topic is safety, because this thing can be dangerous. Once you get it built, you will need to figure out how to carry it. I will also talk about that.

Yeah, once C.O.'s for both teams are released we can vote and determine which side to go on. Like we did last year. Hopefully we won't have to switch so we can use our existing uniforms! Also depending if they don't change. Im all for rocking Woodland pants and the pink shirt again. Come at me bro.

I don't believe I ever formally introduced myself to you, but now I know who you were, laugh.

Update: I probably won't be leaving for a couple of weeks.. So as far I as know, things are still on for the 1st of Feb!! Thanks LaStrade! Don't pay more than $6 a piece. Let me dig through my email to find the place I ordered some of mine from. The other ones I picked up from various Toys R Us, but I think that ship has sailed a while ago. Edit: I just found the information. This is the website and the link to the product. www.officeplayground.com/Nerf-Pocket-Vortex-Football-P542.aspx

Edit: I just found the information. This is the website and the link to the product. www.officeplayground.com/Nerf-Pocket-Vortex-Football-P542.aspxI wasn't asking because I need any. I have 7 of them. I do appreciate your willingness to help and share info though. I wanted to make sure people weren't overpaying or unable to locate them. I know they can be expensive and hard to find. I've found them at Dollar General for $3 each. They have all 3 colors. All black, orange with the black shaft, and ofcourse white with the black shaft. I thought I'd share the info with everyone. I actually just bought 2 and got a coupon for $5 off my purchase of $25 or more. So if you go there and buy something cheap like a pop you can get the coupon on your receipt. Or you can go on dollargeneral.com and use coupon code "DGSAVEJAN", but then you'll pay shipping. It's only good next Saturday 1/19/13. I plan to buy a few extras before the event to bring incase people need any. So if you don't have a Dollar General around and don't want to waste money on shipping let me know before then and I'll pick some up for who ever needs them.

Check out the after action report from last year as well as the Lion Claws event site. Then PM me to get the password. As new as you are, I highly suggest you go to as many games as possible between now and June if you wish to attend.

Where is the sub forum. I've been out of the game lately, but were planning on bringing about 10-15 of us. Just need to get on.

Stupid question time: First time going to an event like this. How many bbs should I get? First I have a question for you. Have you signed up and paid yet? One of the event hosts, Greg Brothers, just posted in the Northern Light sub forum indicating that you need to get paid immediately. So the seemingly open ended grace period to get signed up looks like it has come to an end. Now to answer your question. How many BBs do you go through in a normal rec game? I would think that worst case you may go through 2 to 2.5 times that amount. Maybe more, maybe less, it really depends on what tasks your Platoon / Squad are assigned. Last year there was a lot of shooting at people that were WAY too far away. This year there is claims that the action will involve the buildings a lot more, so the action might be closer (though the insides of these buildings are still pretty wide open and huge).
