I've never had issues with the last rounds.

Normally you can never fire the last few rounds because the spring in the mag is all the way up, but there are still BBs in the tube that goes up to the gearbox. That's why when you take out the mag a few bbs always fall out (at least for me).

Right but that has nothing to do with the spring.

And it gives your gun substantially extended range. Anti-lose.

Wow, learned a lot from reading this thread. I've always filled my mags to max or close to max capacity, and haven't had any feeding issues at all. I must be lucky. Only mags I've had issues with were KA M14 mags, and they wouldn't feed no matter what I did.

Yeah, I still don't buy into the whole partially loading your mags thing. I load mine to almost full and have never had an issue.

I load both my King Arms 120 rounders and my 85 EMAGs until I feel quite a bit of spring tension, and they feed every shot.

I'd be happy to demonstrate Ghast. It's very apparent when they are overfilled. Some mags may not have an issue but my MAG midcaps definitely benefit from under loading.

Sent from my DROID RAZR using proboards I'm not doubting anyone, but like the old saying goes "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". Suffice to say, I'm not gonna stop fully loading my mags, since they've never given me an issue, and I get to keep shooting at you while you reload.

OK well I guess I misunderstood your post then. Yeah, I still don't buy into the whole partially loading your mags thing. I thought you meant that you didn't believe it. www.thefreedictionary.com/buy+intoAnyway, yeah if your mags work fine then I would do exactly the same thing. If the springs wear out after 3-4 years that's good enough for me. Mine are still going strong after... probably 5 years now?
