The Band of Angels organization, and team: Fatal Ops Airsoft (F.O.A.) are proud to present the first annual Operation: Sleepy Hollow. one of the first games we've seen, in an operating haunted corn maze, right here at the Haunted Hollows in Armada Michigan In addition to several individual, small team, and full-scale games, there will be contests and challenges, food and beverage, and some surprises we're keeping close to the vest for now... there will be a load-out contest, judged by some of our most fashion-conscious volunteers. pre-registration can be found at www.bandofangels.com, though walk on registration is OK too not just the veterans are allowed, amateurs are encouraged to come too, this is a perfect event for getting your friend/sibling/parent/girlfriend into airsoft. don't think this is going to be amateur hour either though. rules will be strictly enforced. Caution: This Event Fails to Conform to MiA Safety Rules. Participate at Your Own Risk.though we will closely follow MIA regs there will be some changes so i am forced to put this sign here to be safe. this event is sponsored by Echo1 USA and Toy Box treasures in waterford WE WILL HAVE RENTAL GUNS AND SALES for more up to date information follow the event on facebook link: www.facebook.com/events/206352196162422/for any questions either reply here, message me here, or messege us on facebook (Brad Danger Gilbert or Harper Kidder)

First of all I look forward to the game, the idea is unique and intriguing. Now, it's just my opinion, but... There is certain information that the regular MIA players will want to be provided. A Facebook event is fine and all, but again, we need specifics. It wouldn't hurt to put prices in the description on Facebook and here as well. And could you please include what your rules are going to be or at least what parts of your rules depart from MIA standards? Also the non-regulars need to know that the MIA members that do show will be packing serious firepower, not the Wal-mart or Dicks specials. Again just my opinion, but leadership positions in-game shouldn't be given to someone who pays more but knows nothing over an experienced MIA player that can help enrich the overall experience.

Snowman,
Please add the appropriate event type tag to your title (MILSIM/SCEN/REC), and include things like a date, time, address, and basic rules in your event post. We also need your word that you will be enforcing a full-seal and no mesh goggle rule.

I want to know more details about the rules, schedule, and logistics of the game. It sounds pretty interesting. How exactly does it differ from normal Mia gameplay rules?
EDIT: Also camo restrictions. It says rec somewhere on the website, but you never know.

Yes, please tell me more.
Pulled some stuff out:
Evidently they're not putting too much attention on this page, but the planning is there... 24 people attending so far on facebook.

To add on to the trend, myself and a few others were also interested in the game, however with the lack of details, the event itself seems "iffy". I've checked both the website and the facebook posting, and while it seems theres a good crowd going, there is no explanation as to rules, limitations, how the game is going to be laid out, etc.
If you can provide more information of any kind, it would help in me making the choice to come out or not.
