Mike Knight at Excalibur Paintball is planning on hosting a big airsoft game (his words not mine) on the 30th of this month. As of right now that's all the information I've got. I will give an update when or if I know more. The only current source of information is Excalibur's website: bcsplat.com Because this is not a Capital City Airsoft hosted game I/we take no responsibility for the availability of event information or the actual planning and execution of said event.

All I know is he wants my guys and I to be refs and hasn't told us squat. I'm really worried about the lead time he's giving the airsoft community and that if attendance isn't high enough that he'll not want to host another.

Out of courtesy I did send him an e-mail explaining how to post up an event, and that doing so here on MIA will greatly increase the player turnout for this event. Did not receive a response, and unless he provides event details within a reasonable time, the event sounds like it will turn into a major flop unless there's a bunch of airsoft players locally that are going to attend his event.

This event doesn't conform to MiA safety regulations. No eye pro requirement listed and the FPS limits are hot.

I have spoken to Mr. Knight, and am helping to train his referees. The FPS limits are not hot look at the chart again, and there is the strong possibility that they will be changed anyway to standard MIA the day of the event. As for Eyepro, I has brought this up, and although he forgot to list it, it is indeed required as per MIA regs.
