I've been looking for quite a long time now and all I can find is eHobby Asia or Redwolf Airsoft and they are both out of stock. Does anyone know where I can get one of these guns? Id rather a JG, but either way. Any help of any kind would be great, thanks.

Redwolf says the JG gun is discontinued. AGM might be your only bet, but every AGM GBBR I've seen has gas problems and break after about 2000 rounds, so caveat emptor.

Aye sir. I saw that too, but then again eHobby Asia had JG's in a few weeks ago. Ive heard that AGM's are hit and miss and will need some upgrading, but i'm just trying to find an affordable open bolt GBBR. Thanks, Ghast.

I had an AGM GBBR that I got from Ehobbyasia when it first came out and it did bot perform well at all. It wouldn't even shoot right on full auto. Spend the extra money and just get yourself a KJW M4 or a KWA LM4.

I second what Gunny said. The Western Arms gas system that the AGM is based on is flawed. It just doesn't work well, at all. Even the more expensive Western Arms and G&P WOC's have problems more than they actually work right.
If I were going to buy another GBBR right now, I'd get the KJW hands down. It's the only one that works with any sort of reliability in my opinion.

Is he looking for a specific gun model? Either I'm missing something, or he just doesn't want a WE GBBR. I'm not saying they're great, but WE makes a lot of GBBRs. Look on Airsoft GI or Airsoft Atlanta.

Okay, thanks guys. And just a M4. But I looked at the G&G GBB M4 and talked to G&G Reps and they said they didnt plan on making a open bolt kit for it. Im just looking for a inexpensive GBBR. Ill probably save up for the KWA though.

There's a laugh, in airsoft, you get what you pay for.

I second what max said. No doubt you can find something cheaper and will work right away but I can guarantee that after using it for a little bit, you will start running into problems which will end up costing you more.
KJW M4 GBB is the way to go. I own three and I won't even consider selling one of them. That's how much I love those guns. They are extremely reliable and very solidly built.

And I third what Gunny, Thor and ARC say. I just got my second KJW M4 in yesterday. I've had a WE M4, and it was terrible. Just turned into a money pit. The magazines were horrendous leakers. Also, the hop was near non-existent. Every forum I went to (more than ten) said the same thing about the AGM M4 GBB; doesn't last much longer than 2000rds without heavy upgrading. So they were out of the question. The G&G GBB M4 is too new and there isn't any magazines for sale yet (that I have found). The LM4 seems to be a hit or miss and I don't like to gamble. OOTB, the KJW has hop-up, without an upgrade. And the [used] mags I picked up from ARC and Ghast DO NOT LEAK. Also, it's as consistent as an AEG and that's a big plus. In the end, my stock KJW M4 has outperformed the stock WE M4 I had, on every level, hands down. *Just do some research before you decide on what GBB platform to get. Go to gasgunsinfo.com for help and details on platforms. When you get there, note the troubleshooting areas to the "other guys' M4" as compared to the KJW's M4 troubleshooting area.

And the [used] mags I picked up from ARC and Ghast DO NOT LEAK. And to ensure that they don't, keep them slightly full of gas at all times.

I have a guy trying to trade me a Agm gbbr for my saw and I own the kwa lm4 so I'm good on a piece like that. I haven't had a single problem with my kwa and I have skirmished with it once and have shot it once a week around my house just goofin around. I can't leave it alone. Next gbbr I plan on picking up will be the Kjw. Just so I can have both. I would do as most have told you, avoid the cheep now because it won't be by the time your done with it. If you like to work on your guns and keep tossing money at them then by all means go cheep for now.

The issue is finding a kjw stateside that someone hasn't turned into their baby. Last I heard kjw m4's were being seized on import on occasion.
